Electronic Design

As part of our extensive service, Finch Electronics Ltd can offer clients electromechanical, digital/analogue design and project management. Our engineers work closely with our clients to come up with a tailored made solution that includes the development of software. We have produced cost effective designs for a range of industries that includes automotive, horticultural, as well as working on projects with clients as diverse as for baby products, self medication to sporting and household goods.

Circuit Board Assembly

Our complete range of electronic circuit board services at Finch Electronics Ltd includes circuit design, layout and procurement of multi layer, flex-rigid, aluminium backed, plated through and single sided circuit boards. We can supply and populate conventional and smd boards and a fast turnaround service is offered for all our services. If required, we are able to produce batched of prototype boards. We obtain all components and our circuit boards from an audited supply chain but if a client prefers, we are also able to work with free issued materials. We have extensive assembly facilities and all our goods are thoroughly inspected using optical equipment before dispatch. However we can work using a customer’s own dedicated test rigs on request.

Cable and Unit Build

We are able to provide a full wire harnessing and cable testing service for our clients. Wire harnesses can be supplied in both small and medium volumes and can be constructed by hand or using our full automated equipment, depending on the needs of the job. We can work from using either complex wiring diagrams or from samples provided. 

Finch Electronics Ltd are able to test cable assemblies by using either a calibrated pull test or a volt drop test in accordance with client preference.

We are also able to supply sub assemblies or complete wiring assemblies and we can use either our own in-house facilities or one of our trusted sub-contractors. Our enclosure and mechanical parts are available in a wide variety of bespoke styles.
