Whether it's pre-employment medicals and questionnaires that are designed in accordance with the Equality Act, or job specific medicals to test for problems such as hearing loss or hand arm vibration syndrome, we can ensure that any issues are identified and dealt with quickly. Health Surveillance

Our health surveillance services include:

• HAVS – Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome, also known as Vibration White Finger, is caused by the prolonged use of vibrating tools. With 5 million employees in the UK at risk of the condition at any one time, it's one of the most common work related conditions. We can help reduce the risk of HAVS through health and safety recommendations, implementing an easy HAVS surveillance process, and offering training on the subject.
• Hearing – Hearing loss can have a devastating effect on an individual, and that's why prevention is so important. We offer an audiometry surveillance programme, ensuring you stay compliant with the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005, and monitor your staff's hearing on a regular basis.
• Skin – If your employees are coming into contact with substances that can cause skin problems, it's important that you ensure they are assessed routinely and accurately, avoiding discomfort and inconvenience, and avoiding absenteeism.
• Lung function – Respiratory illness can be a potentially very serious problem, and employers need to ensure that exposure to dust and other substances are kept to a minimum. We can arrange for Spirometry screening, which measures the expiration and inspiration flow rates of an individual's lungs to show how well their respiratory system is working.
