We are the UK distributors for the Italian company Bosello, who specialise in the design and manufacture of Real Time X Ray systems. Bosello have recently release two new X Ray models onto the market, including the SRE HEX and SRE MAX. The SRE HEX model is a small foot print machine which is capable of inspecting parts with dimensions of 400mm x 600mm and weighing up to 25KG. The SRE MAX is a larger model with a increased dimensional capacity of 800mm x 1500mm and a maxiumum weight of 80KG.
DURR NDT have manufactured two distinct high definition, Computed Radiography machines, they are the HD CR43 NDT and HD CR35 NDT. We are proud to be the sole distributors for UK and Ireland of Dürr NDT Digital Radiography products. Digital radiography (DR) is an effective way of achieving X-ray imaging, using Flat Panel Detectors (FPDs). There are several advantages to using FPDs instead of X-ray film. Firstly, you get a preview image immediately. Plus, FPDs have a wider dynamic range than conventional X-ray film and are less sensitive to over or under exposure. Finally, less radiation is used whilst a clear image is produced with a level of contrast much like that produced by conventional radiography. We are the sole UK and Ireland distributors of Dürr NDT Computed Radiography solutions. In computed radiography (CR), an imaging plate (IP) made of photostimulable phosphor replaces conventional X-ray film. The IP is located in a cassette which can be set under the part for examination. An exposure is then made, using either X-ray or gamma radiation. There is no need for developing the image in a darkroom, as a CR scanner reads and then digitises the image. The image is then ready for viewing and can be enhanced using special software. You can increase brightness and contrast and alter filtration and zoom.
