ESP Plastics Limited specialises in the design and production of vacuum formed products for use across a range of industries. Our in-house tooling provision together with our 3D modelling, vacuum forming and 5-axis machining facilities enable us to quickly and cost-effectively develop custom components for all sorts of applications. Areas of particular expertise are the production of vacuum formed parts for kit cars, the fabrication of caravan interiors and the forming of decorative plant pots. However, our experience and facilities enable us to take on all kinds forming and fabricating projects – whatever the application, whatever the industry.
The continued success of ESP Plastics can be attributed to our determination to provide customers with a first class service every time. Rapid prototyping is an essential aspect of the design process and is often extremely informative. We can produce high quality prototypes with an emphasis on accuracy in relation to the original designs. We also understand the importance of an expedient prototyping phase and it’s for this reason that we utilise a combination of custom models, reverse engineering and 3D CAD in order to speed up the production process. If you have any questions about our rapid prototyping service, feel free to get in touch via phone or email.
Utilising both in-house facilities and external partners, we can offer a comprehensive tooling service. We should point out that this service incorporates all aspects of the manufacturing process, from prototyping to full production. It is also worth noting that we can complete an array of different orders, however large or small, simple or complex. We store and register all of our tooling, allowing for use in the future. The design stage is the most important stage within the manufacturing of a product. Our team of designers have a wealth of experience within the field and utilise a combination of CAD and CAM software in order to achieve their designs. All aspects of the product are considered prior to completion, including appearance, functionality, innovation and of course, cost. We understand the importance of working closely with our customers and building upon their specification in order to provide a fully actualised end product.
Vacuum foaming is a moulding technique which offers a wealth of benefits over the more standard alternatives. The process involves melting a plastic sheet and then moulding it into a shape, using vacuum and air pressure. Just some of the advantages that vacuum forming has over other techniques include, lower cost tooling, lower cost prototyping, a greater flexibility when it comes to trim changes and profile details, and more choice when it comes to colour, materials and finish. If you have any questions about this process, please feel free to visit the website for further information.
We can offer accurate and efficient CNC trimming of a wide range machined parts. We can do this thanks to our three 5-axis CNC machining centres, all of which boast trimming facilities. We use both state of the art equipment and powerful "Powermill" software which allows us to complete even the most complex of trimming tasks. Furthermore, we can complete these tasks faster and with more accuracy, speeding up the production process for the customer.
