Tileware®

Tileware represents an industry first; they are surface mounted, UHF receivers, transmitters and transceivers that are part of the sub miniature family. Each Tileware device offers an incredibly small footprint size of 19mm x 19mm maximum without compromising on performance whilst offering extremely low power consumption. They require no external components and are entirely adjustment free even in the 433.92MHz ISM band. The replacement of the standard single inline package with a surface mount package has allowed for manufacturing costs and head room demands to be reduced. TileWare complies with RoHS.

ElectraFlex®

Specifically designed for detecting and measuring periodic bending of anything from tiny microscopic deflections to high amplitude vibrations. EMA’s Electrafex technology is shock sensing and offers flexible vibrations. Electraflex is incredibly durable and remains undamaged despite considerable deflection and shock it also offers strong immunity to electromagnetic interference making it a more hardwearing option than its piezoelectric sensor counterparts. Electraflex is a low costs, simple structure which under test conditions has been show to easily assemble onto PCB’s  and devices due to the use of conductive self adhesive.

Design

EMA work with an external design house to provide our clients with a comprehensive design service that uses state of the art technology to design and create component models, circuit design and PCB layouts for nearly any product. We have an extensive knowledge of RF design, protocols and approvals and it is this knowledge that has helped us create our own product Tileware. We have a background in design for the automotive industry and use this knowledge in conjunction with working with Lucas/TRW trained designers who have over 10 years industry experience. All the products that we design and manufacture comply with standards set out in TS16949. We are use to designing for manufacturing purposes and as we design in house we have total control over every stage of the design process and ensure we meet our client’s agreed production targets. Furthermore we are able to thoroughly project management all design work and we define all deadlines and milestones of a customer’s project and as soon as we have finalised customer’s requirements and we make sure that these are always adhered to. 

Manufacturing

We are able to carry out all conventional manufacturing processing in-house using both automated and manual techniques. Our automated techniques cover:
