Busbar Bending-punching - ALFRA Busbar Bending and Punching System (Set 1)

Busbars are strips or bars made from copper, brass, or aluminium, used to conduct electricity within a switch or distribution board, substation, battery bank, and other electrical units. Manufacturers often need to bend or punch holes in busbars to complete their assembly of electrical apparatuses. Alfra Tools supplies a range of benders and punchers to manipulate busbars in your manufacturing process. The Alfra Sets 1 and 2 for busbar bending and punching can be applied to busbars measuring 120x12mm; these bars can be easily bent, while holes of diameters ranging from 6.6mm to 21.5mm (or oblong holes) can be punched into the material. The tool comes with a control cable, safety cover, electrical angle reader, and a range of other features. See our webpage for further technical specifications.

Busbar Bending-punching - ALFRA Busbar Bending and Punching System on Cart

We supply the Alfra Workshop Cart – a system to transport Alfra busbar bending-punching machines busbar cutting machines. The cart can be used within a facility or mounted in a van. But this cart is more than a transport unit – it features an electrohydraulic pump that can be connected to an existing two-way valve. And two laterally-mounted bearing rollers help with the bending and cutting of longer rails. The cart also includes a drawer with compartments for punches and dies. Two of the cart's four running rollers come with safety catches. And the cart comes with a single and double socket electrical outlet and a three-metre self-recoiling 230V connection line. See our webpage for further technical specifications.

Busbar Bending-punching - ALFRA Busbar Bending & Punching Machine (LPV)

Busbars are strips or bars made from copper, brass, or aluminium, used to conduct electricity within a switch or distribution board, substation, battery bank, and other electrical units. Manufacturers often need to bend or punch holes in busbars to complete their assembly of electrical apparatuses. Alfra's LPV busbar bender-puncher is built for copper and aluminium busbars measuring up to 120x12mm and can punch holes ranging from 6.6mm in diameter to 21.5mm. The LPV is mounted on rollers that offer adjustable height support; this helps in adjusting the pattern of holes being punched. And to help with work on longer copper rails, the LPV features a retractable frame and support brackets that can be adjusted to accommodate the longer materials. All the brackets can be adjusted quickly and clamped in place. See our webpage for further technical specifications.

Busbar Bending-punching - ALFRA Busbar Bending & Punching (BS 160 Combi)

Busbars are strips or bars made from copper, brass, or aluminium, used to conduct electricity within a switch or distribution board, substation, battery bank, and other electrical units. Hand Tools - ALFRA Battery Packed Compact Hydraulic Punch

We supply a range of Alfra's Hand Tools – starting with the battery-powered Compact Hydraulic Punch. The rechargeable 18V battery allows the Compact Hydraulic Punch to weigh only 3.7kg, including the battery, while delivering a punch pressure of up to 75kN – the power needed to punch round, square and rectangular punches for builders of control cabinets, panels and electrical systems. The high tensile strength aluminium head helps keep the weight of the tool low without compromising on the strength of the tool bit. The Compact Hydraulic Punch comes with a pressure control valve, a high-performance motor, an ergonomically-designed handgrip, and rechargeable batteries inserted in two ways to provide a weighted counterbalance to the tool. See our webpage for further technical specifications.

Hand Tools - ALFRA Hydraulic Compact Flex Hand Punching Tool

The Alfra Hydraulic Compact Flex Hand Punching tool is a useful hand punch with a hydraulic hose 600mm in length. Its aluminium design means that the tool weighs only 2kg – a dramatically low weight, and small form factor, for a product that can punch round, square and rectangular holes up to 82mm in diameter and that maintains a punch pressure of 75kN and an operating pressure of 650 bar. See our webpage for further technical specifications.

Hand Tools - ALFRA Hydraulic Foot Operated Puncher

We also supply Alfra's Hydraulic Foot Operated Puncher – a heavy-duty "hand" tool with a maximum pressure of 700 bar, a built-in pressure control valve, suitable for punching round, square, rectangular and special-form holes. The foot pump allows hands-free operation of the punching action so that full manual control can be retained for exact positioning of the tool when making punches to materials. The Foot Operated Puncher spreads the weight of the frame to deliver a tool that is safe-standing and stable against unsafe tilting. See our webpage for further technical specifications.
