Armoured Cable

Our Armoured Cable range features SWA Cables, 11kV Cables and 33kV Cables. These cables feature either aluminium or steel wire armoured layers for protection against mechanical damage. Rubber Flexible Cable

We also offer a wide range of Rubber Flexible Cable. The range features rubber trailing cables such as HO7RN-F, HO7BN4 and Curly Flex in TPR, PUR and PVC varieties. Control Flexible Cable

Our range of BS6500 Control Flexible Cable includes CY Cable, YY Cable and SY Cable in PVC and LSZH. Our control flexible cables are available with numbered cores and CY, LSZH, YY, PVC, and SY cables are available with optional colour-coded cores in certain sizes. Control flexible cables are widely used in the automation and process control industries for applications such as interconnecting cable to measure, control and regulate computer aided production. They are also widely used to supply power to machinery on production lines, conveyors and computer units. Various accessories are also available including CXT Glands and A2 Glands.

PVC Flexible Cable

Polyvinyl Chloride is an insulation and sheathing material that is widely used with electrical cables due to its insulation properties. PVC flexible cable is tough and durable for long term use and is supplied at competitive prices. Our range of PVC flexible cables includes Tri-rated, 2491X HO5V-K, HO7V-K and Elandflex types for panel wiring and 218-Y HO3VV-F and 2192Y HO3VVH2-F types for general light duty domestic wiring applications. We also offer other PVC flexible cable types suitable for use with conveyor and hoist equipment, electrical apparatus and appliances, and for use in areas with temperatures as low as -40ºC.

High Temperature Cables

Our range of High Temperature Cables has been created to provide solutions for a range of industry applications. Examples of the range include the Tri-rated cable which is suitable for panel wiring and switchgear, Silicone cable which is used for applications such as refrigeration and furnaces, and Intemp 250 which is designed for use in harsh conditions. Fixed Wiring Cable

We also supply the industry with a fantastic range of high quality fixed wiring cable designed to suit a range of applications. Our range includes 6491X, 6491B and NYY-J cables that are widely used for domestic and industrial power distribution and underground projects. NYY-J cables are versatile and can also be used in damp conditions. LSZH Flexible Cable

LSZH cables are widely used for installations where fire, smoke emission and toxic fumes are hazardous to human health and capital equipment. Our low smoke, zero halogen range includes flexible control cables such as CY, LSZH and YY LSZH. Our CY LSZH flexible cable is widely used as an interconnecting cable to control, measure and regulate control equipment for assembly and production lines. Fire Performance Cable

Our fire performance cables are widely used in fire alarms and emergency lighting circuits.
Our range features:

Firecel SR 114E Enhanced Fire Cable PH120: this cable is designed for use in fire detection and fire alarm systems as well as emergency lighting circuits. This cable is particularly recommended for situations where fire cables may need to operate for longer than a standard cable.

Firecel SR 114H Standard Fire Cable PH30/PH60: this cable is also designed for use in fire detection and fire alarm systems as well as emergency lighting circuits.

Coaxial Cable

We supply the industry with four main types of coaxial cable:

Coaxial BT3002/RA7000 Eq. Cable: manufactured to BT specifications and used for interconnecting data or telecomms equipment.

Coaxial CT Cable: widely used for professional TV and CCTV system installations including digital satellite, terrestrial and Cable TV.

Coaxial RG/URM/Composite Cable: high quality coaxial cables suitable for a range of applications such as low power video, video signal and broadband signals. 50 or 75Ohm types available.

CT100 Pre-terminated: CT100 foam filled, 25m coil, pre-terminated with connectors and supplied coiled in a bag. Suitable for set top box installations.

Data Cable

Here at Eland Cables we also supply a wide selection of Data Cables that are compliant with RoHS. Cables in this range can support data transmission speeds of up to 1GB per second. Our CAT 5E cable can support frequencies up to 100MHz and our CAT 6 cables can support frequencies up to 250MHz. CAT 5E Data Cables are used in a range of installations from audio to multimedia and are commonly used for Local Area Networks in offices and cash machines. Telephone Cable

We also offer a great range of telephone cables which have been designed primarily for use with telephone equipment. We also offer telecommunication cables that are suitable for interconnection of other types of communication and control equipment or low level signalling operations. Our range features cables suitable for internal and external use as well as direct burial.

Defence Standard Cable

Our multi-core flexible cables conform to Defence Standard 61/12 Part 4 and Part 5. They are specified for high-density wiring and local interconnection between components. Our multi-core flexible cables are also designed for use within instruments and electronic equipment for MOD use.

Welding Cable

We offer four main types of welding cable:

0361TQ Orange Welding Cable to BS638:
0361 TQ Black Welding Cable to BS638
H01N2-D Welding Cable to BS638
H01N2-E Welding Cable to BS638

All items in the range have been designed to suit the transmission of high currents from the electric welding machine to the welding tool and are suitable for flexible use in rough conditions, on assembly lines and conveyor systems in industries such as automotive, ship building and more.  Our orange and black welding cable is similar in construction except the orange has tinned copper conductors making it more resistant against corrosion.

Solar Cable

We supply TUV approved Solar Cable PV1-F which is designed to permanently interconnect elements in a photovoltaic system. Our solar cable is designed and tested to last for 25 years and features a Class 5 flexible copper conductor and halogen free rubber insulation. It also features a Low Smoke Zero Halogen Sheath to ensure the cable does give out toxic emissions in the event of a fire. As well as being TUV certified, our solar cable is also ozone resistant to HD605/A1, durable to EN 60216 and UV resistant to UNE-HD 605:2008. We also supply Solar Cable Connectors and a Solar Crimping Tool.

Bespoke Cables

We are pleased to provide customers with bespoke cable solutions. We can also improve and modify existing cable types. Modifications may include:

Sheath colour change: sheath colours can be changed by oversheathing or dyeing.

Over-sheathing: a wide range of indoor cables can be oversheathed with materials such as PE and PUR to enable outdoor cable use.

Re-sheathing: we can remove existing sheath prior to re-sheathing to ensure the diameter of the cable is maintained.

Braiding, armouring and electrical screening: this can be achieved by adding either flexible GSWB or more SWA.

Composite cables: cables of different conductor sizes or a combination of data, control and power cables can be laid up to form a single cable.
