Edmo’s extrusion press capacities range up to 12 inches, or 16 inches in bespoke arrangements, and we can produce aluminium profiles in light or heavy weights with product lengths of up to 10 metres. And we can offer alloys and tempers at a number of levels – the better to suit your bespoke extrusion needs. We also can deliver directly to customers or hold stock, per your needs; we are ready to meet your logistics requirements. Our extrusion products have been used in a wide range of sectors – from marquee construction, to office furniture and lighting, heat sinks, flooring components, automobiles, construction, solar shading and renewable energy, gaming machines, seating systems, door and window components, and a range of other uses.
Edmo has more than 30 years of experience in aluminium fabrication. We can control in-house or global sourcing of fabricated components. Our fabrication processes can include drilling, milling, turning, cutting aluminium to length, mitre saws, CNC machining, punching, hydraulic bending, roller bending, vibro debarring, and welding. Please visit our website for more information.
Edmo’s facilities feature an on-site powder coating plant used for offering a wide array of colours for bar length and finished aluminium components used in a diverse series of markets. Our colours are all drawn from three industrial colour charts – BS 4800 Colours, RAL Colours, and Bespoke Colours. Our powder coating plant applies thermosetting powder colouring via electrostatic spray to a range of substrates which are then cured. This creates an attractive and durable coloured finish.
Cash is king and space is always at a premium – these are business fundamentals that we at Edmo understand. And so our manufacturing and sourcing techniques are advanced to such a point that we often are able to shield our customers from the wild fluctuations in demand patterns that can disrupt smooth operations. Our multi-faceted supply solution includes a stock holding measure – we hold the stock so that you do not have to.
Edmo offers a full anodising service – this is the electrolytic oxidation process in which the surface layer of a metal is transformed to allow for functional, decorative, or protective properties. Anodisation can be used to protect satellites from the extreme conditions of outer space or to give a component an aesthetic or coloured finish. We have become experts at selecting the most suitable and cost-effective anodisation method for any kind of aluminium component. Please visit our website for more details.
Edmo offers its customers a special and custom-made assembly facility. This facility is separated from the fabrication plant so as to avoid any contamination from our other manufacturing work. We have a full business in ongoing and contract assembly work for a range of customers needing to assembly aluminium products. We can, using one of our four manufacturing units, provide customers with simple sub-assemblies or complex boxed products. Castings, mouldings, fixings, and brackets, can all be bolted to screwed to products. Our assembly service offers excellent workmanship and value for money to our clients.
