The East Anglian Sealing Company is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of metal, plastic and rubber mouldings. We offer an extensive array of gaskets, seals, O-rings, connectors and standard sheeting products in a wide choice of materials. As a company we have over 10 years of experience in the supply of gaskets and seals, though many of the individuals who work for and run the East Anglian Sealing Company have more than 30. Our knowledge of sealing products and their applications is second to none.

The company was set up in 2002 to help manufacturing and process industries outsource their lower level spend items. Today we offer one of the fastest, most efficient gasket and seal manufacturing services in the UK. We also now offer a free advisory service, with impartial advice on design, cost-reductions, alternative materials, production and other aspects of product development.

The East Anglian Sealing Company has always aimed to surpass the ‘fit-for-purpose’ quality standards set within our industry. We also endeavour to provide a service that exceeds the normal expectations. No wonder more and more equipment manufacturers are outsourcing their production to us.

Metallic Gaskets

As an agency company of Klinger, the world’s leading industrial gasket company, we have produced metallic gaskets for many of the leading oil & gas industry organisations, including BP, Shell, Exxon, Conoco Philips, British Gas, Transco and Total.

Water-jet cutting facilities at our facility in Sudbury, along with further machinery at Klinger Bradford, allow us to manufacture all types of metallic flat profile gasket in a wide choice of materials. Copper head gaskets, stainless steel gaskets and shims can be produced extremely quickly, without the need for expensive press tools.

Soft Cut Gaskets

To produce soft-cut gaskets we use a variety of machines and processes, including rotary cutters, hydraulic and pneumatic presses, automatic travelling head presses, auto-knives, oscillating knives, water-jet cutters, CNC milling centres and various manual fabrication tools (though hand production has been almost completely superseded by CAD/CAM technologies). Our machines are operated by fully trained and vastly experienced staff at production facilities in Suffolk, Cardiff and Manchester. We also have access to Klinger production facilities at Bradford, Runcorn, Grangemouth, Aberdeen, Southampton and Middlesborough. Gaskets are available for next-day delivery - almost every day of the year.

Using the latest, state-of-the-art CNC production facilities, the strictest quality control procedures and comprehensive product testing equipment, we are able to ensure the highest standards of performance and reliability in every mechanical seal that we supply. Full design and build capabilities allow us to produce mechanical seals in strict accordance with customer specifications, so whatever your requirements, the East Anglian Sealing Company can offer a quality, cost-effective solution. As a company that operates from the heart of East Anglia, we of course have a natural affinity to the agricultural community, as well as with the many clubs and restorers of tractors, steam engines, vintage cars, motorbikes and other vehicles. For some time now we’ve been producing replacement parts for vintage vehicle restoration projects – we have gaskets and seals for a variety of makes and models, including Lister, Wolseley, Ransomes, Caterpillar, John Deere, Marshalls, Rolls Royse and more. Gasket Supply

The East Anglian Sealing Company specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of industrial gaskets. Bulk production takes place at facilities in Manchester, Cardiff or Bradford, while more complex, low-volume parts are usually engineered at our plant in Bulmer, Essex, where we have experienced technicians using hydraulic presses, automatic knife machinery, oscillating knife machinery, water-jet cutting equipment and various hand fabrication tools. You can find out more about our manufacturing capacity on the East Anglian Sealing Company website.

Gasket Design

Our experienced gasket and seal technicians are able to reverse engineer almost any part or component. Non-contact measurement equipment allows them to take accurate dimensions and build up 2D and 3D images which can then be passed on to the toolmakers for tool design or direct to the cutting machinery for production. State-of-the-art facilities enable us produce a CAD file and cut parts within just minutes of its measurement and identification. Find out more about our gasket design and reverse engineering services by visiting us online or calling 01787 880433.

The quality of our products is of paramount importance, particularly because of the nature of the applications in which they are used. Seals and gaskets often play a critical role in the safety and efficiency of oil & gas, automotive, aerospace and general manufacturing equipment. To ensure our products meet the standard required, we implement a quality management system which is accredited to ISO 9001:2008. Each part is rigorously tested and inspected prior to leaving our facilities.
