Surface Mount Technology

Why use surface mount technology over tried and tested through-hole technology? The answer is simple - surface mount technology offers a far greater component placement density. Increased circuit miniaturisation and component sizes reduced to 0.5 mm to 0.25mm (and still getting smaller), means that surface mount technology is the most compact, cost-effective and flexible choice for electronics designers. Featuring; 3 SMD Lines (6 Placement Machines) 75K CPH Total Placement Capacity, Conceptronic Forced Air Multizone Oven, BTU Paragon 150 ten zone reflow oven for Lead Free process, 0402 through to 35mm² component placement, 50mm² to 450mm² PCB (small PCBs can be panellised), Micro Ball Grid Array and Fine Pitch QFD Capability, Ersa-Scope optical inspection, AOI Yestek Scanspectron, X-Ray Piergiancomi XBIM100, Ersa IR500 rework station, BTU PYRAMAX 8 Zone Oven for Lead free process.

NPI/DFM

Our on-site NPI/DFM team are able to offer a comprehensive range of manufacturing services and programme management. They'll take your product from development through to production seamlessly. Pin Through Hole Technology

Although Dynamic EMS believes that Surface Mount Technology is the future of circuit board assembly, we know that there is still a great demand for conventional through-hole and mixed technology methods. Of course, it is our pleasure to be able to meet this demand. Our pin through hole technology features; Universal 120 station sequencer for board sizes up to 450 x450 mm, VCD - Board error correction for board size up to 450 x450 mm (10K Insertions per Hour), Universal multimode II Dip Inserter 0.3" and 0.6" pitch board error correction for board sizes up to 450 x450 mm (8K Insertions per Hour), Harwin Pin Inserter, Cropmatic Automatic Lead Cutter, and Universal Radial Inserter.

Wave Soldering

We offer our customers the choice of no-clean or water soluble cleaning processes for all our Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assemblies. We possess the following facilities; Invicta and Soltec Delta Wave Solder Machines (Lead and Lead Free compatible), Automation in-line water wash systems, No Clean and Water Soluble processing; Kerry 4 stage batch ultrasonic 1373 coating material or Spray under Imersion cleaning system, Concoat spray conformal coating. Product Box Build and Test

Dynamic EMS is Baseefa certified to build and test intrinsically safe and explosion proof products. We have the facilities to offer a complete product box build and test service. This includes the design and supply of customer hardware and software test equipment. We offer electrical and mechanical sub-assembly, as well as obsolete products delivery, worldwide delivery, consignment stock, cost-reduction programmes, and even a repair service.

Automatic Test Equipment

We continually invest in innovative automatic testing equipment, meaning our products are all thoroughly tested for quality and performance. Our equipment includes the Flying Probe, a Takaya 9401 Tester which offers 30 test steps per second (AOI available), the ICT - Teradyne Z1880/Z1800 for off line programming (functional test available), and the J-Tag - JT 3707, a diagnostic software for fault finding which is fully compliant with JTAG standard IEEE 1149.1

Materials Management

Here at Dynamic EMS, we have the industry experience to know that material sourcing, procurement and inventory management is imperative in meeting delivery schedules required by customers. With so many components and suppliers involved in the supply chain, timing is critical. We adopt a flexible approach to suit your business needs in every aspect of supplier selection and supply chain management. We'll assist you in component selection, inventory management, finding solutions for obsolete products, and lead-time profiling. Quality Assurance

Because our customers demand superior standards of product quality and service, we manage all of our processes the most exacting standards, including BS EN ISO9001:2000, ANSI/J-STD-001 Class 3, IPC-7711, and IPC-7721. All of the areas in which we manufacture and store components are ESD protected and are continuously monitored. We even have an on-site training school for our engineers to ensure that all processes comply with necessary regulations, and that all health and safety standards are being adhered to. Lead Free

Here at Dynamic EMS we have developed and implemented a working programme to comply with European legislation regarding the change to Lead Free production. As part of our programme we have carried out extensive trials and research alongside an investment into capital equipment to develop a robust manufacturing process. We have followed steps in order to drive the change to lead free and are RoHS (Removal of Hazardous Substances) compliant. We carried out our first shipments of RoHS compliant PCB assemblies to customers in June, 2006 and have continued with this operative ever since.
