Tracker 300+ Series Overview

The Tracker 300+ series of DIN rail process control products can be deployed in a wide range of industrial applications. These products are suitable for PID control, condition monitoring, signal conditioning, alarm trips, and remote data acquisition. The series can be configured with PC software without the need for internal links or potentiometers. Real-time interface is possible through RS485 serial links or USB ports. And the Tracker 300+ series offers other benefits: each unit can be identified by a six-character alphanumeric tag stored in the product's memory. Please visit our website for further technical details.

Tracker 300+ for PID Control

Data Track offers the Tracker 330 series for PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) control in a range of industrial applications. The Tracker 330 product is designed for multi-loop applications where single-loop integrity is important – the product features PID controllers with auto-tune, heat and heat/cool outputs with separate gains for water-cooling or air-cooling. The Tracker 330 can be connected to thermocouples and RTD sensors, and process signals, and it comes standard with a Modbus RTO-compatible isolated RS485 interface. Please visit our website for further technical details.

Tracker 300+ for Signal Conditioning

Data Track offers the Tracker 300+ series also for use with high-resolution and universal input in thermocouples, RTD (Resistance Temperature Detectors) sensors, and resistance measurement. This capability can be combined with the isolation high-resolution analogue output to guarantee a very high fidelity of signal conditioning. And the Tracker 300+ series can be used with non-linear inputs by applying the user-linearization function. These products can be supplied in a range of power configurations and feature USB or RS485 interfaces. Please visit our website for further technical details.

Tracker 300+ for Data Acquisition

We supply the Tracker 330+ series for use in data acquisition applications; this can be used with the universal input for thermocouples and RTD (Resistance Temperature Detectors) sensors. These applications make the Tracker 330+ series a perfect system for data acquisition uses – the product can be fitted with a standard RTU RS485 interface but is also compatible with a huge range of SCADA, HMI, and data acquisition software. Please visit our website for further technical details.

Tracker 300+ for Trip Alarms

Data Track offers the Tracker 300+ series for alarm applications. The Tracker 322 features standard two-alarm relays; other models can include a T340 logic expansion module for four-relay or TTL outputs. The alarms can be set to high, low, or deviation bands; and the product can be set to avoid fleeting alarms and to set other options. The product also comes with alarm blocking and latching – all outputs can be individually configured. The Tracker 322 features our standard power options and comes with both USB and RS485 interfaces. Please visit our website for further technical details.

SCADA Software

Data Track's SCADA software is a user-customisable and low cost solution suited to configuring and managing the full range of Data Track's process instruments. Our free software has no time limits and can be used across four channels. The product's key features include online web access, a custom display builder (including all configuration tools), data recording facilities, spreadsheet import, and other options. SCADA allows users to quickly and straightforwardly set our products to show all "record and alarm" values of our instruments. Please visit our website for further technical details.

Temperature Control & Display

Data Track offers a series of instruments to measure thermocouples and RTD (Resistance Temperature Detectors) sensors and to power or measure two-wire transmitters. Our products – the Tracker range 210, 212, 220, 250, and the 300 series –  come with insulated analogue output, alarm relays, maximum and minimum memory, and user calibration functions. The calibration feature allows users to match the tracker with the sensor. The Tracker 300+ range offers the extra features of being used either or both as a temperature transmitted and as a temperature PID controller. Please visit our website for further technical details.

Pressure & Weighing

Data Track supplies a range of pressure and weighing sensors – we offer this product usually as a 350O strain gauge bridge device. This pressure and weighing capability, both powering and measuring, is built into a number of our products: the Tracker 210, 212, 220 series, 250, and the Tracker 321 and 332; this offers solutions for pressure and weighing across a range of budget and industrial products. All of our products come either standard with the following features or include them as optional extras: isolated analogue outputs, alarm relays, zero functions, tare functions, maximum and minimum memory, and user calibration functions. Please visit our website for further technical details.

Process Inputs

Our Tracker range offers a series of products that can accept a number of industrial signals and process inputs. The 211, 212, 220 series, 250, and 300, can all accept ±20mA, ±10VDC and ±100mV inputs. These products come with 10V and 24VDC sensors, isolated analogue outputs, alarm relays, zero functions, tare functions, and other features. Please visit our website for further technical details.

Injection Moulding & Extrusion

Data Track's Tracker 330 product range offers single-loop integrity for applications that demand multi-loop control – plastic extrusion is a good example. Heat and cool outputs are standard in the Tracker 330 range which allows the product to monitor the health of electrical heaters and to monitor thermocouples. Planned sensor replacement is one of the benefits of this product. The Tracker 330 can be used in a number of extrusion applications – plastic, aluminium, PVC windows, foam, and polyethylene.

Signal Re-Transmission

Many of our products come with analogue outputs. This feature is useful when you need to isolate and transmit a given technical value in the form of an analogue signal – an example would be transmitting a temperature measured by a Type K thermocouple and converting from mA units to centigrade. Our Tracker 211, 212, 223, 240, 250, 260, 280, and 300 series all offer analogue outputs – this means that digital meters across our full range, from budget to industrial, offer the feature. And the output itself can be configured by users. Please visit our website for further technical details.

Remote Data Acquisition

Most of our Tracker instruments include both RS485 serial interface ports and USB ports. The serial ports come built with special features: electrical isolation and four different protocols including the widespread Modbus RTU. These features allow a central master device – such as a computer – to run data acquisition software to receive real-time data from the instruments. Our software allows this data to be displayed as user-friendly and easily understood graphics; the data can also be archived for analysis over time, and to it can be used to sound alarms if values go beyond presets. Please visit our website for further technical details.

Alarm Outputs

Our full range of Tracker instruments come with alarm output options – these include volt-free relay contacts and TTL outputs on some models. And on the panel meter products an alarm message can be displayed alongside the alarming value in question. Please visit our website to see the full range of alarm options available on each Tracker product and to study the user-customisable features of each different alarm.

Fill & Trickle Feeder Control

Two of our products, the Tracker 224 and the Tracker 244, offer two relays with volt-free contacts or four TTL outputs; these can be used either for alarms or for batch control of a filling sequence. These instruments are ideal for setting an automated and batch-scale filling capability in to your industrial process. Please visit our website to see how our instruments offer filling control sequencing and to see further technical details.

Timer / Counter

The Tracker 280 product includes a range of timer and counter features: pulse totalisation, pulse rates, frequency measurements, up and down counting through two channels, batch control, encoders with position measurement, and timing. The product also includes a series of maths functions, namely tare, zero, pre-set, and maximum and minimum memory, as well as other functions. Please visit our website for more details.

Melt Pressure Transducers

Our Tracker 250 product melt pressure indicator offers a straightforward and quick way of match calibrating extruders to the transducer in a plastic (or other material) extrusion process. This measurement is essential for operating the high-pressure environment of an extrusion process and the precise measurements needed in this critical manufacturing context. Our product offers an easy solution for this industrial application. Please visit our website for a detailed briefing on the product offering.

LVDT Transducers

Linear Variable Differential Transformers (LVDTs) are sensors used in industrial applications that demand reliability. Other position sensors – such as potentiometers – can wear out but LVDTs have no moving electrical contacts to be eroded. Our Tracker 260 product, which is configured for the appropriate transducer excitation voltage and frequency, is recommended for measuring LVDTs where other measurement tools would be insufficient. Please visit our website for a detailed briefing on the product offering.
