FXSL High Speed In Line AOI

Nordson YESTECHS high speed version of its in line AOI, the FXSL, utilises the same qualities as the FX version but with the added benefit of it producing a faster more efficient throughput. It will quickly determine which parts or soldering is at fault by means of a capture on the fly image acquisition technique as well as algorithms and image detection. It is a simple and quick process to program the FSXL for both new and repeat inspections.

FX In Line AOI

Nordson YESTECH’s FX in-line AOI system is a hard wearing, robust machine that features top and side angled cameras, RGB, coaxial and white lighting as standard. The FX In-Line AOL uses an 8 micron resolution for precise parts and solders inspection and wide range of programmes can be quickly created using libraries and CAD data. Furthermore the FX is simple to use and program being equipped with all the usual library packages enable the program to be easily transferred to different manufacturing lines.

Solder Paste Inspection (SPI)

Our FX In-Line Paste Inspection system uses the same features present on the Nordson YESTECH in-line AOI systems, which makes it incredibly easy to operate. It has been configured to check the solder paste that is either present or absent as well as to see whether or not there is sufficient pasta coverage and any smearing, in addition its outputs can be used for line tuning.

Featuring all the same benefits as the FX model, the FXSL uses 2D technology to check paste up to 3 times faster than the FX.

For more detailed inspection the M series of SP and AOI systems, can examine even the smallest circuit boards using its 3 micron resolution.

Off-Line Programming, Review and Rework

Our off-line station is simple to use as it operates using the same software as our other systems and it can easily connect to multiple systems using a standard network. The programming station will use a set of images collected from either the in-line or benchtop system to produce an entire procedure.

The Nordson-YESTECH rework station allows the failing parts to be seen in exactly the same way as on the inspection system and these parts are then sorted and sent to the SPC database. There are two ways in which the boards can be viewed, either by the last board that was examined or by using its serial number to display the board or panel.

In-Line X-Ray

YESTECH provide two types of X-ray machine, the X2 and the X3, as well as our award winning DAGE X-ray system. 

As it is becoming more widespread to use thermal control in power devices it is necessary to have X-ray inspection at production line speeds. The X2 can provide a 2D fully automated analysis of circuit boards, which will check for voids and bridges and to make sure there is enough solder. The X3 will analysis the component in both 2D and 3D and look for faults on double sided assemblies or POP at line speeds.

The Nordson DAGE’s X-ray systems work in both failure analysis laboratories and production environments and have been specially created for Printed Circuit Board assembly (PCB) and semiconductor industries.

Special Purpose Inspection for Coatings and Microelectronics

It is becoming increasingly common to protectively coat electronics with to guard them against the hazardous environments they are used in and to ensure they last longer. Our ACI in line or benchtop AOI will identify any defects on the UV fluorescent marker in the coating as well as any other faults including any in the coverage, drips and holes.

The M1m can also be used to detect for any defect relating to the microelectronics built directly into circuits. It uses its 3 micron resolution as well as its angled and coaxial lighting to look for fault in the wiring, bonds and any other contamination. 

Benchtop AOI

The Benchtop AOI is a perceptive compact package that offers fast programming, typically taking less than 30 minutes to create a full inspection program that also examines the solder. 

The Benchtop AOI will help you to increase the quality and production as the systems is able to inspect solder joins and authenticate the correct part assembly. The BX AOI boasts many other features such as angled and coaxial RGB lighting, four side viewing cameras and laser height detection, all of which are present on the larger in-line FX models. ALL BX programs can be directly transferred to other in-line and benchtop systems and are fully compatible with with Nordson YESTECH's entire range of AOI systems

Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Statistical Process Control offers enormous benefits for many industries and can save time and money as SPC often has the answer to problems in its data and is especially useful in manufacturing as well as machining and tooling.

Using a standard network, all of our Nordson YESTECH AOI and X-Ray systems will connect to the SPC data collection systems directly. A range of SPC outputs can be used including Microsoft Access, SQL, text file or third party factory information systems (FIS).
