Precision Moulding

We have a variety of precision moulding services, including Compression Moulding, In-mould Coating, Reactive Injection Moulding, Resin Transfer Moulding and Hand Laminating.

For high volume production, our Compression Moulding provides superb part to part consistency and finished products with excellent tolerances. This can include sheeting moulding compound and low pressure moulding compound, and surface features can be incorporated if required.

Reactive Injection Moulding provides a strong yet lightweight product that is reinforced with continuous filament mat, and assures a smooth surface on all sides of the component.

For strong, dense products that can handle harsh environmental conditions and rough handling, Resin Transfer Moulding is the solution. This provides dimensional accuracy and a smooth surface on both sides of the component, and includes vacuum assisted resin injection.

CNC Machining

For speed, control and consistency in high-run processes, we use CNC machining. This process can give products added value through inclusion of features into the core product, which lessens the need for unnecessary assembly and parts. It can also provide dimensional complexity due to the wide variety of finishing options.

We can use this precise machining to remove flash, drill holes and rout cut outs in moulded parts, based on your specific needs. We provide computer controlled trimming using a variety of 5-axis CNC centres and 3-axis CNC centres.

Composite Finishing

The assembly of the final product is done in-house, which allows the client to have control over the assembly. In-house assembly by our trained staff is an effective way to reduce the costs for the customer, limit unnecessary handling and improve supply chain management.

We also place importance on the packaging of the final products, and as such, can design and produce packaging solutions. We take care to optimise the packaging design for freight and delivery, so that shipping costs can be lowered and, most importantly, the finished products are protected and visually appealing.

Painting Composites

To assure that your composite products look their best, Creative Composites can apply the appropriate paint for your ideal finish. We paint our components on a conveyorised paint line that was purpose built for the painting of composite products. For a whole range of client solutions, we can provide automotive grade robotic spraying, priming and top coating.
