Additional Information

Brand & Trade Names

  • Alloy 600 A Nickel Chromium Iron alloy with excellent heat and chemical corrosion resistance. High temperature strength up to 1150C.
  • Alloy C276 A Nickel Chromium Molybdenum Tungsten alloy with excellent corrosion resistance in a wide variety of processing environments.
  • COLDUR-A A Silicon Bronze with a reddish old gold colouration ideal for architectural or decorative applications. It offers excellent hot or cold forming properties, good strength levels, a low magnetic permeability and excellent corrosion resistance in industrial, marine, urban and rural environments.
  • COLPHOS-90 A free machining Phosphor Bronze. Based on the 5% tin alloy this grade has a lead addition that gives a machinability rating of 90% that of free machining brass (100%). The lead also provides COLPHOS 90 with very good wear resistance and bearing properties, self lubrication, a resistance to seizure and rapid self seating. For a full Spec sheet please contact us.
  • COLSIBRO A unique multi purpose alloy that offers a high strength and hardness, a very good corrosion resistance, very high electrical and thermal conductivity, a resistance to softening up to ~300C, very low magnetic permeability, spark resistance and the retention of properties at cryogenic temperatures
  • COLSPEED 90 A free machining Aluminium Bronze. A lead addition gives COLSPEED 90 an excellent machinability and wear resistance, whilst retaining the inherent properties of the other Aluminium Bronzes. Contact us for more information
  • ENVIROBRASS A non-lead containing free maching brass.
  • NIBRON SPECIAL An extra high strength Nickel Bronze with a combination of outstanding corrosion resistance, high wear and galling resistance, complete freedom from hydrogen embrittlement, an extra low maganetic permeability and spark resistance. For a full technical data sheet please contact us.
  • TROJAN A higher strength version of COLSIBRO which also offers a very high corrosion resistance, excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, very low magnetic permeability, spark resistance and the retention of properties at cryogenic temperatures.
