We can provide wire sizes from 0.1mm up to 10mm and in shapes such as round, square and rectangular. Coil Springs Direct have springs manufactured from a range of materials including spring steel, stainless steel, phosphor bronze and we can supply in quantities ranging from one to several million. We provide extensive spring end grinding facilities and we offer tolerances to BS1726 or to meet a customers requests.

Stampings & Pressings

At Coil Springs Direct, stampings is a staple part of our supplying output. We can produce multi impression, mass product components and single action, operator controlled components with specialised assembly and finish forming operations from tooling developed and designed in house.  Our well equipped stamping supply facility can deliver stampings on a huge scale.

Tension Springs

Coil Springs Direct can offer you a vast selection of tension springs. A tension spring uses twisting to store up energy, the amount the spring is twisted is equal to the amount of torque exerted. Our torque springs come in a selection of sizes and shapes including round, square and rectangular. The vast selection of metals used in our torque springs includes steel, stainless steel and phosphor bronze. We can meet all customer specifications including those relating to tolerance with our standard tolerance being BS1726. We can supply quantities ranging from one to millions.

Clips

There is a huge array of clips on offer at Coil Springs Direct, with material strip sizes ranging from 25mm x 1mm. We use a range of metals for our clips that include steel, stainless steel, mild steel, phosphor bronze, and brass and can supply in quantities of one upwards. All of our clip tolerances are made to customer specifications and we use our own in house tool room and tool maintenance facility to guarantee fast delivery and a high level of quality. 

Wireshapes

Our wireshapes are used by demanding industries to manufacture excellent quality components that include battery contacts, metal clips, metal O rings and clamps as well as a multitude of others. We can supply wires in different shapes from round, square and rectangular and in sizes from 0.50 up to 4mm. We use only the most durable metals including spring steel, stainless steel and phosphor bronze. We provide quantities as small as just a single component to several million. All tolerances are made to fit exact customer specifications.

We work with our customers at all stages of the design and development process, from the initial idea right through to sign off and supply. We forge strong partnerships with our customers in order to achieve the technical objectives of their spring design projects. All new component projects are thoroughly reviewed by our Technical Sales and Coiling Engineers, in order to ascertain the viability of the spring design, whether there will be any manufacturing limitations and to make any considerations in regards to re-engineering before we start supplying.
