CZC1 Wireless Thermostat

Our CZC1 wireless thermostat is fully featured and is battery powered and 7 day programmable. The thermostat is also incredibly versatile and can be used with either Celsius or Fahrenheit and can be programmed with either a 12 hour or 24 hour clock. CZC2 Wireless Touch Thermostat

CZC2 is a wireless thermostat that has been designed for use within environments were occupants are not meant to adjust the heating settings e.g. hotels, student accommodation, hospitals, nursing homes etc. One of the stand out features of this device is that when you touch it, it will switch on heaters and maintains the rooms temperature at a set amount for a set amount of time. PCB

We can design and supply a bespoke PCB to the exact requirements of your electric heater within just a few days. Instead of going through the hassle of fitting both a wireless receiver and an appliance-control PCB to your products you can save time and money by fitting one single combined PCB. Any appliance that has been fitted with a Celsia PCB can be controlled by any Celsia zone controller. Our standard PCBs feature 240V AC supply, LED status indicator as well as over temperature cut-out reporting.

Wireless Technology

All of our thermostats are completely wireless which means they are quick and easy to install, without an electrician and without disturbing the surrounding décor. Customers only need to mount the back plate onto the wall and then clip on the thermostat. Using the wireless technology, you can connect the thermostat to any number of heaters within range which is usually 30m (indoors). Another benefit of our technology is that we use the less popular 433MHz band for short range devices. By not using the popular 2.4GHz band we can make our products completely impervious to interference from products that use WiFi and Bluetooth.

Proportional Thermostat

Proportional control is a technique we employ to guarantee that a stable room temperature is both met and maintained at all times. Rather than just switching a heater on and off we take a more gradual approach. For example, when a heater gets close to its target temperature we will gradually reduce its energy output whereas we would increase the output if the temperature fell below the target. We use a number of different methods to achieve this result, depending on the configuration of the heater we will employ element switching, surface temperature control and chrono-proportional control.

Battery Thermostat

Battery lifespan is an important issue and we are proud that all of our controllers can achieve a battery life of at least 2 years when using standard AA or AAA alkaline batteries. We use battery powered thermostats for many reasons, they don't just make installation easier and cheaper but they also provide other advantages. One of the largest benefits is that being battery powered means they can be placed anywhere in the house. This means that they don't have to be located directly next to the heater, will be unaffected by the nearby heat and will not give false readings.

Quartz Clock

Both of our CZC1 and CZC3 zone controllers are not just thermostats but heating programmers and therefore require accurate timing, this is why we have included a quartz clock within them to reduce clock drift. Each and every crystal that is installed into our zone controllers is individually calibrated against an accurate clock source which means individual variations are accounted for.
