Shrink Wrapping

Shrinkwrapping is an effective and flexible solution that is ideal for food and beauty product packaging, as it keeps items secure and multiple items together. It is easily opened, and is a cost effective solution for the manufacturer or the retailer, as it assists with both effective storage and transport. Flowrapping

Flowrapping is an effective and versatile system that offers a crimp seal on the top and bottom, and a fin seal running the length of the pack. It is often used for booklets, scratch cards, confectionary, and freebies in cereal packets, and much more. Manufactured from food-grade polypropelene, it can be clear, printed or metallic in finish, and offers a fresh, water resistant and tamper-evident seal for the item in question. Up to ten colours can be used on the packaging, to reflect company branding, and our latest Flowrapper machines can produce up to 50,000 packs per day each, and Cavalier can flowrapp around 200,000 packs per day in total

Overwrapping

Overwrapping is an extremely popular method of packaging boxes and rectangular-shaped items. Each end of the packaging is neatly folded up like a parcel, making the product water and moisture resistant, as well as being tamper-evident, whilst still being easy to open for the consumer. It is especially popular for food products and beauty products by large brands, as well as leading supermarket brands for in-house 2-for-1 offers. At Cavalier, we have two Overwrapping machines that can wrap over 5000 units per hour, giving a perfect, smooth finish each time.

Shrink Sleeving

Shrink Sleeving is ideal for branding and packaging together products of various shapes and sizes, and is especially useful for 2-for-1 offers, free products and other promotions. The PVC shrink sleeve can be plain or branded for the company or promotion, and protects the product whilst making transportation and distribution much easier. Eco-Friendly Blister Packs

Blister Packs are an extremely effective packaging solution that protects products during transit, as well as displaying the product in the best way. A common complaint is that this method wastes packaging materials, but Cavalier has produced a special eco-friendly solution that reduces wastage whilst still offering the benefits of Blister Packs. The packs themselves can be branded for the specific product, and we can assist with all designs, if required, to produce a thoroughly professional finish.

Paper & Polythene Banding

At Cavalier, we have over 30 years experience in paper and polythene banding for plastic products, magazines and publications, special offers, and household and cosmetic products. This is an extremely cost effective solution which uses less materials, reducing the impact upon the environment. We use strong paper and poylthene bands that successfully hold products together for sale and transit, but which are easily removed by the consumer and do not damage or affect the surrounding packaging in any way. Vacuum Packing
