Here at Bushey Hall Winchmaster we offer a wide selection of high quality DC winches. Our range has been created to suit various industry requirements. Alongside our range of DC winches we also provide a fantastic spares and repairs service as well as nationwide testing and servicing services.

• Ramsey Winches: includes ATV * (lightweight, sturdy winch for 4x4 and ATV), DC34.9 (plant and commercial recovery) and RE34.9 (general recovery).
• BHW Winches: includes BH4300 and BH Delta 2250 for general recovery planetary.
• Superwinch Winches: features the HUSKY Pro (2.5 tonne 12v or 24v).

SPECIALIST INSTALLATIONS

We also provide a comprehensive installation service for electric DC and hydraulic machines. Our installations are suitable for all makes and models of vehicle and comply with EN 14492-1&2 Winch and Hoist directives. Our highly experienced team installs electric DC or hydraulic machines with fitted emergency stops. Wiring features Armaflex protection and all installations are proof-load tested. All installations are completed with a Declaration of Conformity certificate.

LIFTING & PILING WINCHES

Our hydraulic lifting and piling winches are tough and robust for heavy duty use.

• Pullmaster R5: a fast, extra heavy duty, 5 tonne line pull planetary hydraulic winch. Features 5000kg line pull, fast line speeds, fail safe multi disc brake, manual freespool clutch and 63m x 13m rope capacity. The rope is secured with anchor wedge and all seals are situated in stainless steel sleeves.
• Pullmaster PL5D: a Freefall Hydraulic Winch featuring 500kg and 1000kg hammer weight lifting capacities, long service life, compact design, automatic multi-disc brake and high speed operation. Suitable for use in the marine environment.

RECOVERY

BHW is a well-respected UK supplier of winches and systems to customers in the vehicle recovery market. We offer a fantastic range of DC winches and hydraulic winches to suit different application requirements.

We recommend Reel Smart for effective winching on slide bed vehicles. Reel Smart offers a range of benefits including: less rope breakage or kinks compared to alternative equipment, reduced risk of damage during recovery, reduced loading time and guarantees even rope wrapping. Reel Smart provides users with freespool clutch access from the roadside.

FIRE & RESCUE WINCH SYSTEMS

We also provide a fantastic range of fire engine winches supplied together with kits. We also supply Rescue Master. This excellent system has been expertly designed and created for use by the Rescue Services on rapid intervention vehicles where maximum flexibility is essential. The hydraulic machine provides users with front and rear winching of up to 9.25 tonnes pulling capacity.

Rescue Master features a uniquely positioned winch which ensures the wire rope wraps onto the drum without bunching due to the minimum approach angle of the rope to the drum. Its front rotator enables the wire rope to be pulled horizontally or vertically to the rescue vehicle.

MOBILITY VEHICLES

We are pleased to provide Winch Assist systems for motability vehicles, ambulances and rescue vehicles. Winch Assist is fully accredited by Motability and is TUV approved. We have worked closely with vehicle conversion companies and ambulance fitters to design and manufacture a range of safe and reliable mobility systems for wheelchairs and stretchers. Our systems also aid compliance with EU manual handling regulation (EMC Directive). • Ramp Assist: a choice of two hydraulic raising and lowering systems.
• Plant Master: a unique winching system designed to suit any class of vehicle. This system features a choice of single or double ram systems and is easy to install. The ramp assist kit includes system mechanism, hydraulic ram, controls for raising and lowering, over centre safety valve, full fitting instructions and an optional DC power pack.
• Power Wedge: a double folding ramp system featuring hydraulic Rams-Nitrotec, impregnated for protection against corrosion and chipping, controls for raising/ lowering and folding, system mechanism with all hinge points, manual locking and more.
