1000mm (40”) DN Single axial bellows for a main engine diesel exhaust on a large fishing trawler. We received the failed bellows assembly and manufactured a new bellows membrane, internal flow sleeve and swivel facings and re-assembled using the flanges from the original assembly, thus saving time and money by not having to provide new flanges. The rotating flanges make alignment of the bolt holes during installation much easier for the engineers on board the vessel.

Double tied lateral steam bellows

450mm (18”) DN Double tied lateral bellows for 16 Bar/230 Psi steam service pipe work in factory premises. The units were designed to offer +/-50mm lateral displacement and had 4 No tie bar assemblies designed to restrain the pressure thrust generated following pressurisation of the system.

Double hinged (Angular) stainless steel bellows

300mm (12”) Double hinged 316 stainless steel bellows supplied at 2,800mm long, designed for 12 Bar/175 Psi steam service pipe work in factory premises. 

Single axial bellows

200mm DN Single axial flanged bellows working at 0.5 Bar/7 Psi on the outlet pipe work of a gas clean-up system to the vent air burner at a Waste Water Treatment Plant. Bellows were manufactured in Inconel 625 throughout to replace 316 stainless steel bellows that had failed prematurely due to pitting corrosion caused by the formation of acidic condensate in the line following a plant shut down.

Single Gimbal pipe end-bellows

300mm (12”) DN single gimbal (or universal angular) pipe-end (or universal angular) bellows designed to accommodate movements in any plane and supplied at 515mm long for steam at 1 Bar/120 Deg C. . The unit was designed to accommodate +/-8 degrees of angulation.
