Used in a variety of industries such as marine, automotive, agricultural machinery and chandlery, clevis pins are a variety of fixing that is generally used to hold two independent parts relative to each other. Clevis pins are a favoured fastener for agricultural machinery as its design allows the grip to remain secure even when subjected to vibrations. Boneham and Turner Ltd is proud to hold the largest stocks of standard jig bushes anywhere in the UK and we are confident we can meet your needs with a range of drill jig bushes including plain jig bushes, liner bushes, anchor bushes, headed bushes, mould box bushes and guide bushes. All our bushes are manufactured to BS, ISO and DIN standards in both metric and imperial sizes. We also stock drill jig bushes that have been subjected to the nitriding process for added strength and longevity and also fabricate non-standard jig bushes on request. When sealing holes in hydraulic and pneumatic components such as valves, relays, cylinder, pumps, presses and motors, it is vital that the seal will remain tight when subjected to pressure. The Koenig Expander™ Plug has been designed to provide a pressure tight seal for cross-drilled holes in channels that have pressurized fluids and gasses in them, even in the most extreme applications. The Koenig Expander™ Plug is a highly affordable and much more reliable solution when compared with alternative sealing methods. We manufacture three different styles of location and seating pins. Our cylindrical locating pins are manufactured to DIN 6321 and are commonly used for locating workpieces into tolerance holes. For one directional location or for overcoming disparities in tolerances we recommend the flattened locating pin DIN 6321. Finally, seating pins DIN 6321 are predominantly used as bearing surfaces for fixtures as well as tools and jigs. All of our locating and seating pins are available to order in a variety of sizes.

Our large stocks of shim materials coupled with our extensive experience and tooling range allow us to manufacture the majority of shim styles to order based on your designs. Our expert jig and tool engineers are also able to manufacture laminate/peelable shims, which are becoming increasingly favoured due to the fact that they allow for precision adjustments to be made in the field as there is no need for grinding. We are proficient at manufacturing a comprehensive range of shims including pump shims, valve shims, brake shims, clutch shims and gearbox shims.
Boneham and Turner Ltd stock four different types of threaded plugs. Aluminium threaded plugs have a sandblasted matt finish, a maximum working temperature of 120°C and are available in seven sizes. They feature an NBR synthetic ring and a threaded blind hole for use with a dipstick. Our threaded hexagon socket plug, which is available in four sizes, is fabricated from glass-fibre reinforced polyamide based technopolymer affording it outstanding resistance to greases, solvents, oils and other chemical agents. Our standard threaded plug and threaded plug o-ring are also both made from the same resistant material as the hexagon socket plug. The o-ring plug is available in three sizes, whilst the threaded plug is available in 19 sizes.
We hold and extensive range of thumb screws fabricated from a choice of steel, stainless steel and duroplast, which have all been ergonomically designed and knurled allowing for practicality and durability. Our own range of toggle clamps have been designed to allow for the safe and swift clamping and unclamping of workpieces and are highly suitable for use in the metal, wood and plastic industries for drilling, welding, adhesives, milling and bending. The range includes vertical, horizontal, telescopic and locking clamps, all of which have been fabricated to be corrosion resistant with galvanised steel parts, and have been ergonomically designed with the end user in mind and feature soft grip handles.
Our range of high quality vices and precision clamps includes a drilling machine vice that is available in a choice of four different jaw widths and is suitable for drilling and light milling for both horizontal and vertical work. We also stock two different types of precision vice; the 6553 and the 6552. Both have been designed for precision grinding, milling and measuring and have an accuracy for squareness and parallelism of within 0.003mm, 0.005mm and 0.007mm. The differing feature between the two models is a moveable jaw with both horizontal and vertical v-groves on the type 6553. We offer two styles of parallel supports, both of which are hardened and finished in pairs, one set of which is manufactured to DIN 7168.
