Bow & Stern Rope Fenders

Black Pig Fenders creates a range of rope fenders for both the bow and the stern of all manner of inland waterways craft including narrowboats and canal boats. Our standard rope button fender is available in both black and sisal and is suitable for use at the bow or stacked on the stern for fantastic protection for your boat. It can be made with 2, 3 or even 4 chains depending on your requirements. We also produce our button fender in a long version designed for use at the stern which features a 30mm natural fibre rope core. Another product in our range is the V bow fender which is made from heavy weight rope for amazing durability.

Rope Side Fenders

At Black Pig Fenders, we produce and sell a wide selection of rope side fenders including rope disc fenders, staple spun rope side fenders and slim rope fenders. Our standard crowned rope side fenders, made with black staple spun polypropylene, are functional fenders for protecting the sides of your boat that look fantastic as well. Our crowned rope side fenders also come in a slim version depending on your requirements and we are also able to sell them in multi-packs for great value. Our range also includes pipe fenders with ultifilament polypropylene rope cores for extreme durability.

Mooring Ropes/Lines

Black Pig Fenders can provide a range of mooring ropes and mooring lines in various lengths from 10mm up to 16mm in diameter and in a number of different colours. Our mooring lines are constructed from Kingfisher multifilament polypropylene 3 strand rope with one end having an eye splice and the other some black rubber whipping. Highly soft and easy to handle, our mooring lines are also extremely strong and have the ability to float making them ideal for use with all manner of boats, cruisers and yachts. We are also able to provide a bespoke service with our mooring ropes and lines so please do not hesitate to contact us with your custom length requirements.

Decorative Ropework

Made using 100% natural cotton rope, Black Pig Fenders creates a selection of decorative ropework for a range of different purposes. For something a little different to the more common ball of cork, our floating rope keyring has been made with a nautical monkey fist design and is capable of floating for up to 48 hours with five keys. Suitable for traditional narrowboat decor, our cabin side strings measure approximately 40in from end to end with an attractive design for a great vintage look. We also produce a decorative tiller tassel which can be attached to either the tiller pin bottom or be used as a bell rope.
