MC6 Advanced Field Calibrator & Communicator

The Beamex MC6 Advanced Field Calibrator and Communicator is a highly accurate and technologically advanced piece of equipment specifically designed to be used in the field. The MC6 measures and calibrates pressure, temperature and a number of different electrical signals as well as providing a complete fieldbus communicator. Featuring a large full colour touch screen as well as a membrane keyboard, the MC6 is designed with the user in mind and also features a dust proof and waterproof case, and a lightweight design. The MC6 can be applied in a number of different industries including the pharmaceutical, energy, and chemical sectors.

MC5 Multifunction Calibrator

The Beamex MC5 Multifunction Calibrator offers an all-in-one solution for calibrating pressure, temperature, and electrical and frequency signals with multifunction and documenting capabilities. The MC5 is manufactured as a highly flexible modular system with the option to add on more functionalities over time. Delivering results with a high level of accuracy, Beamex also provides accredited calibration certificates with every MC5. Incorporating a vast number of features, the MC5 has strong, impact resistant casing rated to IP65. The MC5 also automatically stores and transfers calibration results to your computer or integrated system.

MC4 Documenting Process Calibrator

The MC4 Documenting Process Calibrator is designed to be user-friendly and compact in size with the ability to receive instrument data from your computer and allow calibration results to be uploaded back. Able to calibrate pressure, temperature, and electrical signals, the MC4 performs to a high level of accuracy and is supplied with an accredited calibration certificate. The MC4 has a complete numerical keyboard, a large display and a simply menu-based interface. For use by technicians and engineers involved in plant maintenance, the MC4 is designed for use in a wide range of industries including the pharmaceutical, oil, service, and general processing industries.

MC2 Calibrator

The Beamex MC2 is a series of practical hand-held calibrators designed for use in the field. The series includes: the MC2 Multifunction Calibrator, the MC2 Pressure/Electrical Calibrator, and the MC2 Temperature/Electrical Calibrator. User-friendly and small in size, the MC2 series calibrators all have large graphical displays, numerical membrane keyboards and menu-based interfaces. Our MC2 calibrators are available with a variety of possible configurations including pressure modules that can be both internal and external. Some of the advanced features also include lead testing, damping, scaling, redundancy, and program updates delivered via USB.

MC5-IS Intrinsically Safe Multifunction Calibrator

The Beamex MC5-IS Intrinsically Safe Multifunction Calibrator is specifically designed for use in environments where inflammable gases are potentially present including oil refineries, petrochemical plants, gas distribution centres, and offshore platforms. With an extremely tough exterior and a membrane keyboard, the MC5-IS performs calibration for temperature, pressure, and electrical and frequency signals to a high level of accuracy and can be configured to meet your exact requirements thanks to its modular design. If the MC5-IS is used alongside calibration software, it has the ability to be a comprehensive documenting calibration system that can create calibration certificates automatically.

MC2-IS Intrinsically Safe Multifunction Calibrator

For use in explosive environments such as petrochemical plants, offshore platforms, and oil refineries, the Beamex MX2-IS Intrinsically Safe Multifunction Calibrator with ATEX and IECEx certification has the ability to connect to nearly 20 different Beamex external pressure modules in the intrinsically safe range. A compact and highly portable calibrator, the MC2-IS makes calibration and measurement an easy and efficient process with pressure, frequency, and temperature. Its many features include a loop supply, current measurement with both internal and external supply, pulse counting, switch sensing, current generation, resistance measurement and simulation, and TC measurement and simulation.

POC6 Automatic Pressure Controller

The Beamex POC6 Automatic Pressure Controller is an accurate and easy to use piece of equipment that gives an output that is regulated from vacuum to 70 bar or 1015 psi with a specially designed control valve technique for superb precision. Depending on your requirements, the POC6 can be supplied as a portable version or panel mounted onto a Beamex calibration system. When integrated with the MC5 range and CMX calibration software, the POC6 has the ability to become a completely automated way to carry out, document, and manage calibrations in the most efficient and accurate way possible. With a 7 inch colour touch screen, the POC6 is easy also extremely clear and user-friendly.

RTS24 Temperature Simulator

Designed and manufactured to act as an instrument with the highest levels of precision, the Beamex RTS24 Temperature Simulator is used to simulate Pt-100 resistance thermometers. Highly stable and accurate, the RTS24 has 24 calibration points for covering the operation range of Pt-100 thermometers. The RTS24 is primarily designed for the measurement and calibration of temperature by plant maintenance staff in a number of different industries including the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, oil and gas, power, and service sectors.

CMX Enterprise Calibration Software

Specifically designed to fit the requirements of organisations with plants in multiple locations and a high number of calibration assets, the CMX Enterprise Calibration Software package comes with an unlimited amount of database positions. Our Enterprise Software removes the need to have a complicated system managed by multiple software installations because it acts as a single floating server allowing all of your plants to share one system and database, even if your organisation is on a global scale. This feature helps to increase productivity and efficiency by allowing calibration data to be accessed via a single database. This software also has a huge number of customisable features for a truly tailor made package.

CMX Light Calibration Software

Designed for use at an individual workstation with a user-friendly interface, CMX Light Calibration Software aims to aid the user by performing tasks in a much faster and more accurate way than the user could do alone. CMX Light is able to safely store information and comes with the right functions to aid the user in the planning, managing and documenting of calibration processes. CMX Light has the ability to alert the user when calibrations are required and can create paperless calibration documents. Its many features combined make CMX Light the perfect option for small to medium size organisations with a requirement for fast and simple software that can perform to a very advanced level.

CMX Professional Calibration Software

For a safe and efficient way to plan, manage and document calibrations, CMX Professional Calibration Software offers the right tools for the job and can be heavily customised to exactly meet the requirements of your industry and organisation. Ideally suited to medium and large companies, CMX Professional helps to improve efficiency by being a more accurate, quicker and easier to use platform than the traditional paper-based route. On completion of calibration tasks, CMX Professional creates records which include timestamps, record statuses, electronic signatures and comprehensive audit trails. This function makes CMX Profession ideal for regulated industries.

MCS200 Calibration Workstation

The Beamex MCS200 Calibration Workstation is specially designed for use in workshops and laboratories as a test and calibration system of modular design able to maintain process instruments efficiently and ergonomically. The MCS200 is able to work with a wide number of different applications including the calibration of pressure, temperature, and electrical signals; the testing and maintenance of electric devices; and many more. Easy installation in facilitated by a state-of-the-art design that incorporates a table frame and module rack complete with the option to adjust the height, have a dual panel set up, add LED lighting and include a variety of moveable accessories.

MC5P Calibration Host Module

The Beamex MC5P Calibration Host Module has been designed with versatility in mind. A calibrator which is panel-mounted, the MC5P is able to complete a variety of different functions including the calibration of temperature, pressure, and electrical and frequency signals. This product provides a combination of multifunction calibration capabilities with the ability to perform fieldbus configurations. Used with calibration software and the MC5P becomes a comprehensive documenting calibration system able to create calibration certificates in a fully automated process. Beamex provides all MC5P modules with a fully traceable and accredited calibration certificate for added peace of mind.

MB Metrology Temperature Block

The Beamex MB Metrology Temperature Block is a portable dry block able to operate with bath-level accuracy and designed for use in a wide number of industrial applications. With a performance that can deliver accuracy levels of laboratory standard, the MB can be used in the field with an immersion depth up to 203mm and a temperature range of -45°C to +700°C. The MB replaces the more traditional external reference sensor that dry blocks usually require for improved operating accuracy, being capable of measuring temperature with an accuracy of up to ±0.1°C just with its internal sensors. The stability which the MB is able to produce - up to ±0.005°C - is not usually found in dry blocks.

FB Field Temperature Block

A lightweight and highly portable temperature block perfect for use in the field in a wide number of industrial applications, the Beamex FB Temperature Block is able to operate extremely quickly but still with fantastic levels of accuracy. The FB is a dry block with a temperature range from -25°C to +660°C and has integrated reference inputs of high accuracy which are able to support plug-and-play smart probes. The FB comes with accredited calibration and features a dual zone control technique which provides a superb level of stability and uniformity.

PGXH High-Pressure Generator

The PGXH High-Pressure Generator is a hand-held unit capable of acting as a hydraulic generator with high pressure. The PGXH is fully compatible with a wide range of different liquids, including distilled water and mineral oil, which makes it an ideal unit for use in a huge variety of different industrial applications. The pressure generated by the PGXH can be finely tuned with the use of the volume control which can be adjusted as necessary. The PGXH is also available with the option to add a relief valve which provides the function to adjust over pressure protection in a variety of ranges.

PGM Pressure Generator

Designed to utilise air as a pressure media, the Beamex PGM Pressure Generator is a hand held device which acts as a pressure calibration pump. The PGM features a highly accurate volume control which offers extremely fine pressure adjustments. The PGM has also been specifically designed for use in the field incorporating a highly durable construction and a weight of just 400g. The output pressure of the PGM ranges from 0 to 20 bar or 0 to 300 psi. The PGM comes with a number of standard accessories including a service seal kit, an opening tool, and a variety of output adaptors.

PGV Vacuum Generator

New to the Beamex range, the PGV Vacuum Generator has been specifically designed to act as a vacuum pump capable of generating vacuum in a highly efficient manner. The PGV is operated using a pulling action and has highly adjustable volume controls which allow for very fine tuning of the vacuum that is generated. The PGV is highly suited to the field in a wide variety of industrial applications thanks to its streamlined and lightweight design - just 340g - and durable construction. The PGV creates an output pressure of 0 to -0.95 bar or 0 to -13.7 psi.

PGPH Pressure Generator Pneumatic High

Using air as its pressure media, the Beamex Pressure Generator Pneumatic High is designed to be used as a table pressure generator, operated by hand, capable of generating high pressures. The PGPH is able to generate both vacuum and high pressure in a fast and effortless manner: up to 140 bar or 2000 psi in less than a minute. The volume control is highly adjustable allowing for accurate tuning of the pressure the unit can generate while connections can be made without requiring any special tools thanks to the hand-tight connectors.

PGL Pressure Generator Low

Designed to be used as a table top pump, the Beamex PGL Pressure Generator Low is operated by hand using air to create low pressure from -40 to 40 kPa or -160 to 160 iwc. The PGL is able to reduce potential temperature fluctuations during the process of calibration thanks to the integrated isothermal bellows chamber. The PGL allows the user to achieve highly accurate pressure adjustments that have fantastic stability with the use of the volume control which is operated by a screw.


EXT External Pressure Modules

Beamex External Pressure Modules allow the possibility to calibrate a much wider range of pressures with just one calibrator. EXT modules offer increased flexibility and a huge number of possible configurations to your existing equipment. EXT modules are compatible with the MC6, MC5, MC5-IS, MC5P and MC2 calibrators allowing the pressure range to extend from vacuum up to 1000 bar or 14,500 psi. All available with high rates of accuracy, the EXT range has a number of different modules to suit your exact requirements.

Paperless Calibration

The main aims of switching to a paperless calibration system are to create improvements in quality and reductions in cost. Paperless calibration is a more efficient method of recording and proving analysis of calibration data and almost totally removes the risk of manual errors occurring thus engendering a greater trust in the quality of the data and more accurate analysis of your historical trends. Paperless calibration systems are comprised of documenting calibrators and the corresponding calibration software. While the cost of setting up paperless calibration is higher than the traditional manual system, the long term benefits are significant in terms of cost, quality and efficiency.

Calibration in Hazardous Areas

In hazardous environments, such as oil rigs, chemical plants and gas pipelines, where safety in all things is of paramount importance, Beamex can provide your team with the right tools to ensure that all safety requirements are met while still performing with accuracy and efficiency. Beamex utilises intrinsic safety (IS) for these specially designed products which ensures that the electrical and thermal energy within the system is so low, ignition is not able to occur and cause explosions whether the environment contains gas, vapour, mist or combustible dust. Intrinsically safe is the sole technique allowed to be used in Zone 0 environments where explosive gas and air is present continuously or for extended periods of time.

Calibration & Configuration of Smart Instruments

Fieldbus transmitters use a completely digital signal, unlike conventional transmitters, but they still require calibration in order to maintain stability over time. Calibrating your fieldbus smart instruments also ensures you meet all necessary quality regulations within your industry. Beamex has a range of products for the calibration of fieldbus transmitters including the MC5, the MC5-IS and the MC6 all of which have the capability to calibrate HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 and Profibus PA instruments.

Weighing Instrument Calibration

In order to maintain the required measurement values and uncertainty of weighing instruments, they must be periodically calibrated. Beamex is fully equipped to provide a solution for the calibration of weighing instruments in the form of our CMX Calibration Software which includes Eccentricity Tests, Repeatability Tests, Weighing Tests, and Minimum Capability Weighing Tests all of which are designed to comply with all the necessary requirements. All compulsory information, including before and after environment temperatures, pressure and humidity, date and time, and the traceability used, is automatically stored and calibration certificates, which are auditable and traceable, are automatically produced.
