We at the Association of Event Organisers Ltd (AEO) support and represent the multi-million pound event organising industry. The Association is run by members for members, with an elected council of representatives, a fulltime secretariat and various specialist working groups. Our membership includes some of the largest event organisers across the globe. In the UK, the industry is responsible for an economic impact of almost £12 billion. Around the world, our members organise a great variety of events abroad.
The importance of the event organising industry is reflected in the fact that 86% of Business Directors identified events as second only to their company websites when it comes to generating sales leads. There are significant benefits to joining the AEO. We offer guidance on a number of important matters, including health and safety, security and sustainability, as well as other technical and commercial issues. We work to help our members achieve and maintain the highest professional standards and ensure best practice. AEO members can also work with our sister organisations, the Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) and the Association of Event Venues (AEV).
We work hard to achieve our mission statement, which is to be the voice of the event organising industry, to provide support to event organisers and to promote the interests of our members as well as the entire industry.
