Shate Products

Most of ATP's Shate products come in semi-finished forms, ready to use straight away or adaptable to specific requirements. With access to the extensive central Aalco stock, including stainless steel and aluminium in all semi-finished forms, ATP are able to provide a full package. The standard sizes on offer range from 2400mm to 6000mm in length, 1250mm to 2000mm widths and 3mm to 8mm thicknesses for Shate 5083. And for Shate 5454, 8'2" to 2595mm in length, 5' to 2308mm widths and 10g to 8mm thicknesses. 

Sheet Products

Aluminium sheet is very adaptable through a number of specialist processes -  coil slitting, cut-to-length guillotining, cut lengths of extrusion and tube, polishing, coating, drilling, slotting, bending and weld preparation of edges - to pre-fabricate forms which can be manufactured into finished products. The pre-fabricated forms are not limited to rectangular sheeting, and Aalco routinely supply plate cut to size including circles, rings and irregular shapes. 

Aluminium has a lower melting point than steel so is easily weldable, however, the high oxide corrosion proofing layer must be first removed by chemicals as it has a far higher melting point, and can only be replaced after welding. A host of techniques can be used for bending and finishing aluminium sheets to make them more suited to your intended purpose.

Tread Plate Products

Tread plate products supplied through APT are manufactured to the same high quality as previously mentioned in relation to shate and sheet products, and are also semi-finished allowing you flexibility in your manufacturing. They come in 5 specifications with two standard lengths, the majority being 2500mm, but 2550mm is also available. The widths do not vary and come as 1250, whilst the thicknesses available do vary greatly from 2mm being the smallest and 18 g the greatest. The pattern of these tread plate products is either 5-bar or checkmate.

Plate Products

As with all of the rolled products, the plate products are high quality, durable and semi-finished, giving you the flexibility to manufacture your finished product to your exacting specifications. Plate products come in a greater variety of sizes, making them a very good choice for more complex projects, but nonetheless a great product for any project. The smallest length available is 2000mm and the longest is 6000mm. With widths between 140 and 2400mm, and thicknesses between 5.28 and 20 mm; plate products are some of the widest and thickest products we have on offer. 

Channel Products

Our extruded products are produced from the same high quality aluminium and steel from Aalco stock. Mostly shaped through a die, these semi-finished products give structure and finish to trucks and other vehicles, but can also feature in a whole host of other industries and manufacturing. The channel products come in lengths up to 5000mm, in widths from 1" to 10", in heights from 3/4" to 3 1/2", in base thicknesses from 5/16" to 1/4", and in leg thicknesses between 5/16" and 1/2".

Angle Products

Semi-finished in the same way and to the same high standards as all extruded and rolled products, angle products come as a standard angle piece and as a tee shape. With the standard angle products it is possible to have symmetrical legs or to have differing sizes, between 1" and 7 1/2". The largest length available is 7500mm, and the greatest thickness 1/2". We carry one tee shape angle product that measures 1 1/2" in width and across the tee, and 1/8" in thickness and 5000mm in length. If your specifications fall outside of these measurements, speak to our team about custom fabricated products we can supply.

Mouldings Products

Mouldings are an important part of any steel or aluminium fabricated vehicle, and we supply a variety of standard sizes, but can also source custom produced mouldings if required. The plans, as shown in the thumbnail can be viewed on our website and give exacting measurements. The moulding products are available in standard lengths of 5000mm and 18'.
