Project Management

The Construction phase is where we address all the issues raised in the Elaboration phase and any other cases that might not have come up previously and start the implementation process. The final phase is Transition where we make sure that the solution will perform correctly and it is at this stage that we fine tune it and work out any performance problems.

Lotus Notes / Domino Software Development

Our technical team are all IBM Certified Advanced Application Developers and as a company Codel have over 20 years’ experience in IBM Lotus Notes and Domino development. Our technical team can use all versions from 3 right through to latest version 8.5.3. We can get Domino to do anything and there isn’t a Lotus Notes application that we haven’t created. We can access the Domino server either through using a web browser or utilising the Lotus Notes client. Java, J2EE and XML can be incorporated into the Domino server and methodologies such as Web Services, SOA and AJAX can be implemented. We can also provide administration, support, installation and configuration services for Lotus Notes and Domino.

Our licensing team are able to help with advice on pricing for either one-off purchases or in reducing the overall costs of your software maintenance renewal. We can provide both Passport Advantage and Passport Advantage Express, these are just one set of agreements, processes and tools that cover license acquisition such as Fixed Term Licenses and Software Subscription and Support/ Software Maintenance as well as product upgrades and technical support.

Systems Integration

At Codel we can use our years of experience in the industry to help you create one single source that contains all of your essential business systems including key databases, desktop applications and internet technologies. Our experience encompasses Websphere Buisness Integration and MQ, Lotus Enterprise Integrator and Percussion Notrix as well as other enterprise integration software platforms and middleware. Furthermore we are proficient at interfacing applications with databases and in the past have done this with DB2 and Microsoft SQL and MS-Office, MS-Project and Capscan Postcode Software applications. We use IBM Websphere Portal and other 'At the Glass' technologies to integrate the system at user interface level.
