Acaster Steel was started on 23rd October 1990 by Paul Dodsworth and David Purdy. The company was formed with the main aim being to provide a good service to customers and a comprehensive stock range. This has been achieved by monitoring closely the needs and wishes of our customers, many of whom have been with us since day one. Initially the stock range was concentrated on sheet and plate, and quite soon the company had a good stock range of miscellaneous, non-prime and coil end material.
