Flexifast Thermoplastic Hose

FlexiFast is a revolutionary flexible thermoplastic refrigerant hose which is making copper pipe obsolete in many applications. FlexiFast is an incredible feat of engineering. It is capable of working with temperatures from - 40 C to + 130 C and pressures up to 45 bar.

Available in sizes of 1/4inch, 3/8inch, 1/2inch, 5/8inch and 3/4inch (as well as capillary 2mm and 4mm) the list of uses and applications is endless. We supply the FlexiFast cut to length with necessary fittings crimped into the ends. The most popular being straight fittings which connect straight onto standard male flares. We can supply FlexiFast uninsulated, insulated with black Class O Armaflex or insulated with white Italian Class 1 insulation.

FlexiFast has superior thermal qualities to copper and only requires 3/8inch insulation. Professional independant testing reveals that equipment installed using FlexiFast are more temperature efficient than installed with copper. FlexiFast conforms with and far exceeds the requirements of UK and EU law, in particular EN1736 and prEN378-2:2005. FlexiFast has the lowest permeations of any other similar product in its field. In some cases 100 times less than the regulations permit!

FlexiFast can also be used with our quick coupling range. This means that it can be disconnected without losing the refrigerant in the equipment or the FlexiFast. This is very useful for hiring of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and also if the equipment has to be split to allow for maintenance, cleaning etc as the quick couplings can be disconnected sealing the gas inside the FlexiFast. 

For the hire industry this means no more throwing away of copper and insulation when the hire period is over. The FlexiFast can simply be stored all pre-gased ready to be used time and time again.

Flexifast Automotive

FlexiFast can also be used in automotive applications and we have a range of automotive fittings of exceptional quality for vehicle refrigeration and air conditioning applications.

For correlation between standard automotive pipe size numbers:

• No 6 - is FlexiFast size 3/8 inch U/F/P07 
• No 8 - is FlexiFast size 1/2 inch U/F/P09 
• No 10 - is FlexiFast size 5/8 inch U/F/P11 
• No 12 - is FlexiFast size 3/4 inch U/F/P13 

We supply the FlexiFast cut to length with necessary automotive fittings crimped into the ends. The most popular being straight female o-ring fittings which connect straight onto automotive male flares. Quick couplings which mean the equipment can be disconnected without loosing the refrigerant can also be used with these fittings. FlexiFast is an incredible feat of engineering, capable of working with temperatures from - 40°C to + 130°C and pressures up to 45 bar.

FlexiFast Capillary is a large range of 2mm, 4mm and 3/8” flexible thermoplastic capillary hose products to provide an exceptionally quick and professional solution to all the problems and labour intensive issues caused by using copper and stainless steel capillary. The fittings are cast in one single piece with no welded parts to produce an excellent, easy to use, professional system of exceptional 
quality and longevity. 

Flexifast Capillary - a leader in its field in Europe - is made in Italy to very exacting standards by an ISO9001/2000 certified factory, complying with all the relevant UK and EU regulations including EN1736 and prEN378-2:2005.
