Can my company appear without charge?
Yes any Company that serves industry with a UK address can appear in the main directory and the primary market sectors they serve. Please visit ~/Entry_Form.aspx.
I have my own website - do I need more?
A website is just like a sales brochure, it only works when it is seen by potential customers. Maintaining high visibility within the Search engines for your full product range can be a full time occupation. We offer you access to business users who are not reliant on search engine results alone. By promoting yourselves to our large number of regular users you will deliver a larger audience to your website and make it more successful.
Our core activity is to provide business information, which helps suppliers to talk to customers and to help buyers to find new sources of supply. We do, however, like to recognize the individual nature of the businesses that use our services. We are therefore happy to produce tailor made solutions to support individual company communication needs. We also constantly listen to our growing audience of users and refine our information presentation to be flexible to their individual needs. We like to think that at First Directory we are very different.
How often can I update my information?
We update the site on a regular basis however please allow seven working days as we always have to validate data before putting it onto the site.

How to Update Your Entry
Each time you either add or request to update your entry we will ask you to validate your authority by responding to an email sent via your company email address. The first time you use this service you will also be asked to register your personal login details. To update your entry now please go to one of your pages within the directory and click on the ‘Update’ button.
