Ger crank arm operator

Full Tank Industrial hydraulic operators

SEA's Full Tanks are the strongest of all our hydraulic operators and are suitable for industrial use without almost continuous operation. These high-quality, cost-efficient operators are capable of quietly and reliably handling gates with a max leaf length of 7000mm and up to 1000kg in weight. For gate leaves in excess of 2200mm, we can provide additional security with the inclusion of electromagnetic or electromechanical locks. For maximum security, 2000kg force hook locks are also compatible. In order to cope with very windy conditions, twin Full Tank operators can be used on each gate leaf, allowing for consistent operation on the most secure of industrial sites.

Half Tank Commercial hydraulic operators

Our Half Tank hydraulic swing operators  are suitable for commercial and light industrial use and are one of the most secure operators available on the market. They are able to handle opening cycles of up to 55 per hour, and with 3 pump versions to alter operating speeds and three operator lengths, they can be used for pedestrian gate leaves up to 7000mm in length and 700kg in weight. Mini Tank Domestic hydraulic operators

The smallest of SEA's hydraulic pistons, the Mini Tank is designed for domestic gates and is suitable for a maximum leaf length of 1800mm. The Mini Tank is built with brass and stainless steel internal valves and connectors, making it one of the strongest domestic operators available on the market. They can handle a duty cycle of 40 operations per hour. These highly efficient pistons contain an oil filled bath which provides continuous lubrication and rapid cooling for all moving parts, and a thermal overload built into the motor helps to ensure the very highest levels of protection. They also include adjustable safety valves to protect pedestrians and vehicles. 

Swing Gates

At SEA, we stock a huge selection of different automatic swing gate operators which can be applied to all types of gates from residential and light commercial versions to industrial gates subjected to heavy and intensive use. We can supply both electromechanical and hydraulic hinged electric gate operators with underground, rear mounted piston and crank arm operators available in each type. To ensure the safe operation of all of our automatic swing gate systems, our 240 V mains systems feature adjustable force control via pressure regulation or current sensing whilst our 24 V systems all use motor current sensing.

Sliding Gates

Our sliding gate offering comprises of suitable models for all types of operation from residential settings to large industrial sites. All of our sliding gate motors utilise a double safety system with electronic rotation sensors and mechanical slip clutch systems on our operators. This ensures the very highest levels of safety and has been specifically designed to comply with EN12453 levels. Our sliding gate operators provide a fluid operation with minimal levels of noise thanks to our gear box oil baths which lead to fantastic lubrication. Durability is also ensured with the use of our non-contact metal detectors for setting the open and closed positions.

Automatic Garage Doors

SEA aim to create compact, smooth and quiet solutions for garage door access problems via our range of automatic door operators. The range has a number of different versions suitable for use in residential settings through to commercial operations. All of our gear boxes have been engineered to the very highest standard utilising high quality materials for a superb result. Our Corona range feature 24 V motors which are suitable for intensive levels of operation. Wear and tear is kept to a minimum via the use of limit switches to set positions as well as the soft start and soft stop feature.

Traffic Barriers

Featuring a reliable, smooth, efficient and safe operation, our automatic traffic barriers can be tailored to suit your exact requirements. An end-of-travel electronic slow down function for both opening and closing also features on all of our traffic barriers. We can also supply a huge range of accessories including stand alone and computer linked card reader systems, time clocks and hold open switches, digital code pads, induction loops or photocells for free entry and exit systems, vehicle recognition systems, biometric identification systems, and our patented rubber mechanical safety edges. All our barriers are manufactured in aluminium and can be tubular or rectangular whilst our pedestals are cased in steel with a polyester powder coating.

Rising Bollards

Our automatic rising bollard range comprises of The Bull, The Super Bull and The Soft. The Bull has been specifically designed to be able to withstand intensive operation and features a lift time of just 6 seconds. Manufactured in metal and measuring 275 mm high, The Bull also comes with in built LED lights which indicate when the bollard is in motion. The foundations case is impact resistant thanks to the 12 mm thick steel construction and is designed to protect the hydraulic pump system, drive piston and open and closed limits. The Bull and its heavier duty counterpart, The Superbull, are the ideal ram-raid deterrents and high security protection solutions.

Safety Equipment

In order to provide protection in areas of reducing gap, SEA is able to supply a great choice of safety accessories including safety edges and hinge guards. Our safety edges are all compliant with EN12453 with both closed contact and resistive versions available. Our CMO edge range features an innovative rocker switch and the ability to provide constant monitoring of the safety critical item via the use of a cable which is spring loaded. We can provide hinge guards for both gates and doors designed to place a barrier between the hinge and a person, preventing injuries from occurring whilst the gates or doors are under operation.

Accessories

Our huge range of accessories includes various opening devices and a number of different safety devices as well as intercoms and security items. Our most widely used type of opening device is the radio control transmitter which comes with handsets ideal for keeping on a key ring. Units are available with up to four buttons for controlling both gates and garage doors from a single device. To create a 'hold open' safety feature, we can provide photocells which emit infrared beams across a driveway which, when broken, tell the receiver unit to prevent the gates from closing.

Hydraulic vs Electromechanical Operators

Our electromechanical operators provide an access control option that is both economical and easy to install. These units are built to a high standard of quality and are extremely robust. They have also been designed to include a number of safety features and accessories often only available on other systems as added extras. 

Hydraulic operators cost more than electromechanical versions but are more widely used with heavier gates or those subjected to an intense amount of use. Hydraulic operators are able to produce higher forces resulting in faster gate operation. The continuous lubrication of hydraulic operators also makes them longer lasting that their electromechanical counterparts. 

Underground Swing Gates - Compact 400/800

Our Compact 400 and 800 hydraulic underground operators have been manufactured for both residential and commercial use. The Compact 400 features a maximum leaf width of 4 m, weighs 400 kg and has the ability to produce 140 degrees of rotation. The Compact 800 also has a maximum leaf width of 4 m but weighs 800 kg and is able to enact 180 degrees of rotation. The components that make up both versions are manufactured in house and undergo extensive testing to ensure they comply with the very highest standards of engineering. The electric motor and operational components are housed in an oil filled bath which provides continuous lubrication and fast cooling.

Underground Swing Gates - Field 600 & Field 250

The Field 600 and the Field 250 are both available in 3 versions, namely standard, fast and 24Vdc ideally suited to operations of high intensity. Incorporating mechanical stops that can be adjusted as a standard feature for opening and closing, the Field also provides reliability and strength thanks to the components manufactured from robust solid metal and the oil filled gear box which provides continuous lubrication. The Field is able to handle a maximum leaf weight of 600 kg and a maximum leaf length of 4000 mm. The electronic current sensors are highly sensitive and provide peace of mind on the safety front. 

Surface Swing Gates - Surf Electromechanical

Available in 230 V and 24 V irreversible options, the Surf is an electromechanical operator compatible with all types of automatic closing operators designed for use with both linear and underground swing gates as well as garage doors and automatic barriers. The hinged key lock system is secure, offering manual release security, whilst mechanical open and closed stops that are adjustable can also be provided. SEA are also able to supply a single leaf pedestrian option on the Surf as well as an automatic closing function. The Surf also features a self-learning working time function and can be supplied with an optional back-up battery.

Surface Swing Gates - Alpha

The Alpha from SEA is an electromechanical operator ideally suited for residential situations involving a semi-intensive operating cycle. Able to work with gates up to a maximum leaf weight of 300 kg and leaf length of 3300 mm, the Alpha can be supplied in both high and low voltage models and can have adjustable limit switches built in. The cast aluminium body provides excellent levels of durability whilst the installation procedure is quick and easy. The Alpha also features a manual release system for superb reliability plus the option to upgrade to a key version.

Surface Swing Gates - Hydro

Our patented Hydro is an electrohydraulic system offering a combination of high quality hydraulics and simple electromechanical operator technology to create a brand new automation concept. The Hydro has been specifically designed to meet all European standards of safety and is suitable for both underground and linear swing gates as well as garage doors, rising bollards and automatic barriers. Features of the Hydro include adjustable speed settings with a ramped slowdown function at the end of travel, a reverse sensor system which means the Hydro is compliant with EN12453, and a working time that is self-learning.

Sliding Gates - Saturn 600

The Saturn 600 is a motor ideally suited for use with automatic sliding gates in domestic situations and is able to power gates weighing up to 600 kg and measuring up to 6 m. The Saturn is available with a choice of different control options including push buttons, intercoms, key-switches and hand held radio transmitters among many others. The integral control unit allows for a range of operating logics to be chosen while inputs have also been included for a range of other features such as photocells, safety edge devices, hold open time-clocks and stop buttons. Maximum lubrication is also achieved via the oil filled gearbox.

Sliding Gate - Lepus 600

The Lepus 600 is a motor able to cope with heavy duty usage, perfect for industrial situations of up to 75% intensive usage with gates up to 11 m in length and weighing 600 kg. Integrated into the Lepus 600 is a Gate 1 control panel which allows for all combinations of safety and opening signals resulting in a secure and convenient system. Precision regulation of motor forces is achieved via the slip clutch which is included between the gear box and the motor itself. A rotation sensor has also been incorporated which stops the gate upon detecting any slow down in the speed of the motor.

Sliding Gates - Lepus 1600

With all the features of the Lepus 600, the Lepus 1600 provides additional strength required for operating gates weighing up to 1600 kg up to 30 times every hour. The Lepus 1600 also features a slip clutch mechanism with higher resistance settings and an inductive limit switch which allows for the end of travel detection to be a non contact function. Continuous lubrication and cooling is achieved via the oil filled gearbox and an extremely high level of safety is achieved thanks to the rotation sensor which stops and reverses the gate action upon sensing any obstruction. 

Barriers - Verg

Specifically designed to handle beam lengths up to 5000 mm in length, the Verg is a flexible and safe 24 V electromechanical barrier ideally suited to car parks of a medium size. The low voltage motor is able to handle a 60% duty cycle and features quick and adjustable operating speeds from 2.5 seconds. Photocells and key switches can be installed rapidly thanks to the pre-drilled cases whilst a fantastic length of life can be achieved due to the counterbalanced beam allowing for a reduction in motor loading. The current sensing and integrated rotation sensor have also made the Verg one of the safest traffic barriers available.

Barriers - Storm

A low voltage barrier able to handle beam lengths of up to 7 m without a skirt or 6 m with a skirt, the Storm can handle the high usage rates associated with industrial and commercial sites. The duty cycle can be up to 70% whilst the system can produce operating speeds of just 8 to 12 seconds. The 24 V control system which is supplied with the Storm features opening speeds which can be adjusted to suit as well as a integrated motor current sensing unit which offers emergency stop and reverse functions compliant with EN12453.
