Methods

Our skilled engineers are equipped with a range of the state of the art equipment and will select the one that is most appropriate to find your specific leak. The main toes of equipment we use are;

·  Acoustic - which uses specialist microphones to enhance the sound of the leak.

·  Correlation – which is a very accurate type of sound acoustic equipment that uses sensors to pinpoint the leak’s position on the pipe.

·  Tracer Gas – a safe mixture of hydrogen and nitrogen is pumped into the pipe where the suspected leak is situated.

·  Thermal Imaging - uses infrared imaging to see and measure the thermal energy emitted from the object and detect the leak.

We use other high performance equipment to find the precise position of trace buried pipes and cables. We also have noise loggers to detect water leaks in the supply network.
