Architectural CNC Laser Cutting

We work with the architectural sector to provide fittings, structural, and decorative materials, including metal siding, canopies, coping, cornices, and guttering. Working with architects, building service engineers, and interior designers, we work on both long term production runs, as well as bespoke furniture and fittings, and custom decorative items. We can work with aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel in all thicknesses, with sheet sizes up to 3000mm x 1500mm, with material specifications, designs, and finishes to suit your requirements.

Capacity

Investing in the latest technology means that we are able to offer many different options for laser cutting, and are able to cut steel plates up to 3m long by 1.5m wide, as well as mild steel up to 20mm thick, stainless steel up to 15mm thick, and aluminium up to 8mm thick. Our CAD / CAM software allows us to design complex profiles from your hand drawn sketch, scanned image, or DXF files, and there is minimal set up time which allows us to complete work to a tight deadline and in a cost effective manner. We are ISO 9001:2008 registered, with a wide range of metal in stock at all times, and various finishing services available.

Our broad experience has seen us work with many sectors, including:

• Engineering – We undertake a lot of sub contracting engineering work, especially when customers require one-off batches at short notice. We take drawings straight to the machine without having to set up tooling, meaning it's easy for us to create both prototypes and high volume work. This also means we can create shapes which may have required machining in the past.
• Exhibition – We offer a flexible and innovative production technique which allows us to create items for designers who are preparing for exhibitions. We can work on the most complex of laser cutting jobs, with surface cutting also available.
• Decorative – Laser cutting is so flexible, the only limit is your imagination, and this means we have worked with many creative individuals to create bespoke garden decorations and furniture, as well as working with graphic designers and those in the film industry.

Sign Display CNC Laser Cutting

We create a wide range of signage components from boards to shop signs, large signage for industrial estates, feature signs for illuminated frames, and volume work such as directions and information points. We can work on stencilled name, direction, and information plates, as well as creating brackets, fixtures, and basic flat profiles for our clients. We can work with a wide range of materials, and offer a fast response to your requirements, with full support in choosing designs, materials, finishes, and component variations.  

OEM CNC Laser Cutting

We offer laser cutting subcontracting services for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and offer a lean manufacturing process, with standard sheet metal profiles available at short notice. We also work in support of Sigma Six and Kanban push pull supply chains, with 'just in time' manufacturing options. Our clients include a large number of OEMs including machinery producers, automotive firms, and household goods manufacturers, and we work will a full range of materials, grades, and thicknesses.

We work with those in the film and television sector across London and the South East, including the iconic Pinewood Studios. If you want a one off stage prop, piece of scenery, costume accessories, backgrounds, or staging and lighting supports, we can easily create them to your exact specification and design. We also create many brackets and flat profiles that clients in the scenery sector use, and our clients have included scenery and prop specialists, production companies, and studios. Using our in-house CAD / CAM facilities, we can design and create protoypes of any kind of product. Fabrication

Our stainless steel fabrication work has mainly seen us working within the petrochemical industries, but we have worked with many different sectors to provide specialist solutions, from simple sheet metal components, to very complex plant fabrications which can be used with existing equipment as well as electronic controls. We also manufacture pressure vessels utilising approved welding procedures, and our range includes light weight UV chambers, as well as instrumentation chambers. We always strive to achieve the highest levels of accuracy by using laser profiled components when possible, and using the best materials and machinery available.   

Welding

With a large, cutting edge portfolio of welding technology, we have approvals for a wide range of materials, and these qualifications are approved by Zurich Certification. Our welding procedures are ASME IX and BS EN 288 dual certified, covering various thicknesses and diameters, and we also offer many dissimilar welding procedures. As well as stainless steel, we weld various other materials including aluminium, copper, and nickel alloys, creating high quality welds that look great. Orbital Welding

Orbital welding is a quick, clean, and consistent method of welding which can be used for high grade applications. This method was orgiginally developed for the aerospace sector, where the highest standards are essential, and it's now commonly used in pharmaceuticals, water purifying, laboratory instrumentation, and the chemical and bio technology industries. This kind of welding requires a high level of skill, as well as strict quality control, and allows us to create high end welded finishes on tubes and pipes. Sheet Metal

Our sheet metal engineering services include laser cutting with the 4KW TRUMPF TRUMATIC L2530 and the 2KW LVD HELIUS 2513, meaning we can produce accurate and flexible results, with laser cuts as small as 0.1mm. We also offer general forming and fabrication work, from creating simple brackets to complex assemblies, and a high proportion of our components are laser cut, and our primary forming equipment offers folding, plate rolling, and sheet rolling.

We also often work with the architectural sector, creating bespoke balustrades, stairs, balconies, façades, and signwork. This has included unique architectural features that we have created on a one off basis for special projects.  

Assembly & Testing

Our assembly team have many years experience in the industrial sector, and have worked on projects from small electro and mechanical assemblies, to creating large plant equipment and machinery. This can include proprietary bearings and drive gears, and the addition of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment. Our electric work is tested by qualified sub-contractors, and the rest of our equipment goes through rigorous quality control and testing in house. We can also test pressure vessels and retaining systems, and certify them as required.

We use a wide range of materials in our work, all of them of the highest quality including stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium, and copper. We can also work with other materials, including plastic, and it's best to speak to our team if you have a specific need. We are constantly investing in our plant including our fabrication and welding equipment, laser cutting, and machining technologies. This allows us to work with fabrications of up to 12 tonnes, and vessels of up to 3000mm in diameter. Process Engineering

With over 17 years experience working in the process engineering sector for petrochemical, water, and pharmaceutical clients, we have worked with all kinds of materials including steam, water, oil, solids, powders, speciality chemicals, plus both liquid and solid foods. Because we are a small firm, we can work on complex, bespoke projects that incorporate valves, gauges, drives, pneumatics, electronics, and optical assemblies, with custom welded screws, jacketed pressure valves, and dosing equipment if required. This allows for high quality fabrication services for both small and large scale engineering projects.  

Petrochemical Engineering

We have extensive experience creating stainless steel plant for upstream oil and chemical refining, and the systems we have fabricated include stills, separators, tanks, exchangers, cyclones, columns, converters, reactors, filters, and blenders. We have also created small plant for use in larger refineries, including plant for processing fine chemicals, specialty chemicals, and ethylene and aromatics derivatives. We have also worked with prestigious clients in deep sea oil production, creating stainless steel hydraulic couplings, control valves, and stabplates.  

Food Industry

We have many years experience creating stainless steel processing equipment for the food industry, especially in the low end processing sector. This has included food drying technologies such as bed, pray, and fluidized spray dryers used for glutens and starches. We understand the demanding nature of the food industry, and our products are manufactured to the highest of standards to reflect this. Water Treatment

Working with the water treatment industry, specialising in UV related industrial processes, we create solutions for dechlorination, deozonation, and disinfection for drinking water and use in the pharmaceutical industry. We work on both prototype and high volume production products for applications of up to 2 tons, as well as offering assemble valves, gauges, and other components. Our work for the pharmaceutical industry has seen us create plant for creating highly purified water, water for injection, and pyrogen free water. We even manufacture specialist water handling equipment to create water screens and choreographed fountain displays.  

Pharmaceutical

We manufacture and refurbish pharmaceutical equipment, including components for the production of purified water, and other industrial grade equipment that creates pharmaceutical products. We can also fabricate specialist furniture and fittings for medical and clean room environments, and this is manufactured to a pharmaceutical grade.
