We are also pleased to supply the new Cleveland-Kidder®
range of Ultra-line Cantilevered Transducers (CLT). These flexible units can
feature shaft rollers in a range of lengths, diameters and materials and can accommodate
virtually any type of roller. The Ultra-line CLT has been designed to eliminate
the effects of shifting cantilevered loads due to the force remaining the same
along the roller regardless of where the web material is situated.
Customers can choose from 10 load ratings within two body
sizes offering sensing from 0.1lb to 500lb MWF Imperial (50g to 200kg Metric).
The Ultra-Line CLT can be supplied with End Connectors or Side Connectors to
suit application requirements.
The Cleveland-Kidder® Ultra-Line Slim Cell Transducer forms
part of the Ultra Line Tension Transducer family. This unit features a
low-profile design and is particularly effective for use with new applications
or retrofits where there are space restraints. It can be used with rotating
shafts or dead shaft rollers and is corrosion resistant, water resistant and sealed from dust.
The Ultra-Line Slim Cell transducer can be used alongside
the CMC 2700 and DTAX Amplifiers to achieve increased performance compared to
competitive load cells and increases the operating tension range from 8:1 to

CMC Controls supplies the excellent Analogue Tension
Amplifier 2700 Series. Units in the range feature analogue outputs of either
0.10V or 4-20mA for remote indication and for use with a control system. They
also feature dual measuring ranges as standard and are housed in robust IP40
casing.

We also supply the LETIX Digital Web Tension Indicator. This
fantastic unit provides users with a continuous reading of true web tension as
a percentage of total tension or in real engineering units. It features a
transducer bridge as standard with supply excitation of 5V or 1-V DC, a
scalable digital display and an isolated analogue output from 0 to +10V at 2 mA
maximum.
The LETIX Digital Web Tension Indicator is easy to install
and can be used as remote display and/or as the input to a control system.
