Plastic Seals

Acme Seals manufactures a full range of plastic seals to meet a variety of applications including the Bulldog Seal, the Smartlock Seal, the Griptight Seal, the Combilock Seal, the Twister Seal and many others. Our YP10 Seal works an alternative for applications where more traditional lead seals are not appropriate. Made with ABS food grade material, YP10 Seals are sealed with our YPL 9062F10 sealing tool and can withstand temperatures as low as -20°C up to 110°C. The Bulltip Seal is made to a fixed length from polypropylene for flexibility and acetyl for durability and has an indicator located at the locking end which allow the user to know when the seal has been locked correctly.

Metal Seals

Acme Seals can provide our classic metal ‘T’ Seal in standard and encapsulated versions to meet your exact requirements. For use with trailers, containers, refineries, post bags and a huge range of other areas, the ‘T’ Seal is manufactured from steel which is tin plated and provides a double lock action with viewing holes allowing the user to check for correct locking or evidence of tampering. The encapsulated version features a polypropylene cover over the lock box which provides the option to colour code, barcode and even laser mark your property. The cover still allows the user to check for tampering and to see if the lock has been correctly engaged.

Barrier Seals

Acme Seals is fully equipped to fulfil your requirements for high security barrier seals for storage, shipping, freight, IS 17712 and C-TPAT applications. We manufacture heavy duty Bolt Seals specifically designed for ISO containers with high value goods. Made from carbon steel and finished with zinc chromate, both the bolt and the lock bush are covered in a highly visible polypropylene coating which can be laser marked for additional security. We also manufacture Cable Seals which are highly flexible and can be made to a number if different lengths and diameters and with different materials such as steel or nylon for the cable and die cast aluminium or high impact plastic for the body.

Lead Seals

Acme Seals develop and produce Lead Round Seals and Lead Crosshole Seals which are suitable for a wide variety of applications associated with drums, valves, post bags, cages, lockers and many more. Our Lead Round Seals, which can be manufactured plain or with an embossed logo or company name, have two holes parallel to one another and a knot chamber into which wire or string is threaded and then crossed. Our Lead Crosshole Seals, made from 99.9% pure lead, enable wire to be crimped when the seal is closed with a sealing tool thus preventing the wire from being twisted out of the seal.

Security Labels and Bags

Acme Seals also manufacture and distribute NT Labels, PT Labels and TE Document Bags. Our NT Label Seals can be applied to metals, plastics, glass and laminated items and are ideal for applications that require a seal which has to be broken periodically during inspections, displaying a clear message once the seal has been opened. Each label has its own serial number, can be written on and can even be customised with your company logo. Our TE Security Bags are manufactured in an extremely strong co-extruded polythene which can be either opaque or clear. The bags offer amazing impact and tear resistance and clearly and permanently display evidence of tampering.

Cable Ties

Recommended for the electronics, electrical and mechanical engineering industries, Acme Seals can provide strong and reliable cable ties made from high grade Nylon 6.6 which offers fantastic flexibility. Available in lengths of 80mm up to 1030mm, they an efficient and cost effective securing solution with an average breaking strength of 8kg to 113kg. We can provide cable ties in a range of colours as well as with text or serial numbering for easy identification and labelling. Additionally, Acme Seals cable ties are flame resistant, complying with UL94V2, and suitable for use in temperatures as low as -40°C and as high as 85°C.

Plastic Cuffs

Acme Seals also manufactures high quality plastic cuffs which offer a highly economical method of restraining detainees quickly and securely. Manufactured in superbly flexible, high grade Nylon 6.6, our plastic cuffs are designed to only be removed with cutters. The inside surface of the cuffs are completely smooth and present no injury risk to the detainee when used correctly. They have a breaking strength of 105kg and measure 735mm by 11.2mm. We can provide our plastic cuffs in various colours including black, natural and green and provide them in cases of 1000 units.

Valve Seals

Ideal for use with various valves in the oil and gas industries as well as cylinders, Acme Seals can provide specially designed Valve Seals. With a variable length, our Valve Seals are extremely flexible, having been manufactured in polypropylene, and are made to be applied simply by hand without the need for special tools. Removing the seals also do not require tools as a tear off tag has been included into the design for easy removal. With an averaging breaking strength of 20kg and with consecutive numbers automatically provided, Acme Seals can also customise our Valve Seals with your company name or logo.
