Suction & Delivery Hose

Samco offers mandrel-constructed hygienic suction and delivery hoses that are designed for 10 bar working operation. These hoses are specifically designed for the 'clean' industry, making them perfect for food and pharmaceutical processing applications. Manufactured using FDA, USP class 6 and WRC approved materials, Samco suction and delivery hoses are capable of withstanding temperatures from -60°C to 200°C. With 316L stainless steel wire helix reinforcement, these hoses are both robust and durable. Available in a range of different colours, these hoses feature smooth inner and outer surface for resistance to material adhesion. Samco manufactures 6mm to 314mm ID options to order.

Silicone Tubing

In order to meet the demanding standards and quality requirements of today’s pharmaceutical and biotechnical industries, Samco has developed tear-resistant laboratory tubing which is able to resist extreme temperatures and in particular, the high wear rate of the peristaltic pump. With special bore and wall thicknesses, differing degrees of hardness and a range of colours and cross sections, our tubing can be tailor-made to suit your exact needs. This includes repetitive cutting and fabrication to your desired tolerance. Our silicone tubing contains no sulphur or acid producing extracts and is highly resistant to UV concentrations, ozone, and a wide range of chemicals.

Silicone Rubber Sheeting

Samco provides continuous-calendered, smooth-surface, solid silicone rubber sheet available in 1200mm wide sections. This high quality sheeting can withstand temperatures from 60°C to 250°C and comes in three standard colours; red, white and translucent. We have innovative equipment which enables us to offer a cutting and fabrication service, so we can produce gaskets, seals and strip cuts exactly to your design specification.

We're happy to work using the engineering drawings that you provide, or alternatively, we'll work with you to find a joint solution. Samco can produce silicone rubber sheeting in small or large batches, and if required, we can add adhesive backing to cut sheet and gaskets.

Expanded Silicone Sponge

Our expanded silicone is a versatile sponge rubber product that is able to withstand temperatures from 60°C to 200°C. It is also engineered to be ideal for fire sensitive applications as it gives off minimal levels of smoke and toxic gas when burnt.

Samco's silicone sponge is approved to both AFNOR and London Underground specifications, and may also be used for IP rated seals. With a fine closed-cell structure coated with a soft, smooth outer skin which has a low level of moisture absorption, we offer silicone sponge in a variety of colours. Silicone sponge sheets can be purchased as ex-stock 1.6mm to 25mm thick.

Extruded Silicone Profiles

Samco manufactures FDA and WRC approved, fire retardant elastomers in line with public transport specifications. You can choose from a variety of sections, sleeving, tubing and colours. To meets the numerous demands made upon silicone rubber, our profiles are available in a range of grades and with a variety of special properties.

We'll manufacture intricate sections and profiles exactly in-line with your engineering drawings, or if required, we can work with you to come to a joint design solution.

Gaskets

Samco has a range of production facilities at its headquarters in Warwickshire, including in-house gasket punching equipment. We typically use solid silicone or sponge silicone sheet, and this may be backed with high specification adhesive on one or both sides. Samco can also make bespoke Forme tools with either single or multiple impressions at an affordable cost and with minimum lead times. We use quality materials that are approved in-house, offering a fast tooling service from a single prototype to medium volume production.

Silicone Masking and Finishing

Samco is pleased to be able to offer a diverse range of products for the surface finishing industries. We have considerable experience in providing masking solutions in electro-coat, powder-coat and wet-spray processes. With a huge selection of stocked parts and specialist in-house manufacturing facilities, we're sure we can deliver the part that you need. We supply high and very high temperature masking in two die-cut shapes; tape and magnetic sheet. Our products are able to mask even the largest of bores.

Silicone Reinforced Tubing

Samco supplies translucent, extruded, reinforced tubing which offers a 200% factor of safety. This means our tubing is able to withstand even higher working pressures (pressure rating falls with increasing temperature). Embedded gas braiding leaves a smooth outer and inner surface that is resistant to material adhesion - this gives assurance of cleanliness in vital process areas. Our reinforced tubing is translucent for visual monitoring, and its lightweight construction and ultra-flexible properties enables an acute bend radius without impeding flow. If required, Samco can also manufacture reinforced tubing from high temperature-resistant silicone for working temperatures of up to 260°C.
