Cherwell Laboratories is an ISO9001 accredited company offering a fully integrated range of high quality products for environmental monitoring and validation of sterilisation processes.

We are a UK based manufacturer of our Redipor range of prepared media supplying the pharmaceutical and industrial markets. Cherwell is also the UK agent for a range of air monitoring equipment, data loggers and biological indicators for a variety of applications.

Our extensive Redipor range includes Petri dishes, contact plates, gamma irradiated media, injection vials, broth in bags and ampoules. We also specialise in supplying bespoke prepared media solutions and low volume requirements.

The SAS range of portable microbial air monitoring equipment includes solutions for clean room monitoring, compressed air monitoring, isolator sampling and indoor air quality monitoring. We also provide a service and re-calibration facility for all models of SAS air samplers.

An extensive range of biological indicators including spore strips, spore suspensions, self-contained biological indicators, industrial use biological indicators and chemical indicators suitable for sterilisation monitoring and validation are also available from Cherwell Laboratories.

The DataTrace range of wireless data logging instruments are high quality, miniature loggers designed for measuring temperature, humidity and pressure in critical manufacturing, quality control and validation applications.

Microbiological media/Biological indicators

Over the years, the Redipor brand has built a strong reputation within the pharmaceutical industry for providing high quality prepared media products with a flexible, efficient service.All our prepared media products are manufactured in our cleanroom suite at our site in Bicester and undergo stringent quality control checks before being dispatched to our customers.

Biological Indicators

As UK distributor for Raven Laboratories and Apex Laboratories, Cherwell supply a diverse range of biological indicators for monitoring and validating sterilisation applications including steam, dry heat, hydrogen peroxide vapour, ethylene oxide, formaldehyde, Chlorine Dioxide and gamma irradiation.

Monitoring / Validation Equipment

The SAS range of microbiological air samplers includes various portable hand held units, the SAS Super Isolator for isolator cabinet and filling line monitoring and the SAS Pinocchio for monitoring compressed air and bottled gases. Cherwell Laboratories has also developed the Multi-SAS system offering greater flexibility and control of environmental monitoring programs .

Data Loggers

DataTrace data loggers are designed for use in critical manufacturing, quality control and validation applications for example during installation or annual re-validation. The range includes miniature data loggers for optimising food, pharmaceutical and manufacturing processes and radio frequency data loggers which offer real time data capture.
