A huge range of Current Transformers are available at ARW:
- Ring Type Metering Transformers - A standard range of Ring CT's which are proven and are accepted by leading electricity companies and switchgear manufacturers.ARW's range has now been extended to cover BS3938, BS7626, BSEN 60044-1 and IEC185.
- Ecosse E40 Current Transformer - Maximum reliability is ensured by insulation levels and robust construction. Accuracy is carefully maintained by means of a CT testing system. Ecosse E64 Transformers are also available.
- Ring Type Protection Current Transformers - A range of Protection CT's tried, tested and proven by leading manufacturers.
- Split Core Current Transformers - Supplied in encapsulated polyester resin or as standard taped CT, as well as in either single ratio or multi-tapped with up to 4 ratios. Ideal on systems requiring 0.72kV insulation.
- Summation Current Transformers - Available in moulded case type, Resin type or Ring type.
- Utility range - Utility Moulded Case Current Transformers are designed to be robust and of high quality. Ideally suited to the Utility and Switchgear sectors.

These are our standard range of single-phase transformers. Toroids possess a greater dimensional flexibility and are designed to fit areas in which standard transformers are unsuitable due to irregular height or width. Advantageous because of their great electrical efficiency and comparatively low noise emissions, they are popular for use in audio equipment.
A maximum voltage of 660V and an output of 2kVA, Toroids can have any number of windings and trappings that can be installed into the unit. Though generally supplied with a flying lead to suit customer requirements, tag strips are available on request. A wide variety of fixings are available (including resin-cast in the inside diameter), and we offer to modify arrangements in order to satisfy most arrangements.
