BULK PIG FEEDS
Since 1997 WASPS has gradually increased its share of the bulk pig feed market, throughout the North of England. We operate, independently, at the pinnacle of the quality spectrum. Our proven diets are directed towards astute producers who make feed purchasing decisions scientifically and can settle their account before the 28th of month following delivery.
With the support of highly regarded consultant pig nutritionists and two separate milling partners, best value is assured to our clients. From our unique vantage point we can evaluate, on a
like-for-like basis, the raw material buying strengths, manufacturing charges and respective haulage rates, of our manufacturing partners
- Godfreys who are situated close to the Humber Bridge and BATA of Malton. Both manufacturers are UFAS quality accredited and conduct their milling businesses with impeccable integrity in all regards.
Our formulation criterion is demanding. Our priority is to formulate what is best for the pigs rather than skimping to a price expectation. Therefore, we cannot profess to be the cheapest supplier of feed. The diets contain minimal rape meal and maximum cereals
- especially barley - which is "kinder" to the pig. The earlier diets have milk products and full fat soya forced into the formulations.
WASPS' esteemed and proven diets are higher in energy and more palatable than is typical, and are low protein and
anti-colitis, as standard. Our contract manufacturing charges, reflective of our large volumes, are amongst the most competitive within the feed milling industry, so more of your cost per
tone is spent on what really matters - the ingredients.

Dry Bed is
the WASPS' version of Powdered Disinfectant. It is safe,
absorbent, neutralises ammonia, helps to reduce germs and keeps bedding
fresher. The product is competitively priced against similar products
like Stalosan and is delivered in 25kg heavy duty polythene bags; shrink
wrapped on pallets - with a minimum order size of 25Okgs.

About company
WASPS is overseen by Chris Wilkinson who has 30 years pig feed experience, both as a pig
farmer's son and as a previous Sales Director of ABN. He can offer practical advice on feeding strategies, based upon each
producer's individual priorities, ensuring that processor requirements and grading expectations are met without compromising excellent growth rates and superb FCR
- even at heavier dead weights.
