Cognito has been delivering corporate mobile data solutions since 1992. Originally a mobile data network operator, we were the first company in the UK to be awarded a licence to operate a public radio network for data. When that first proprietary network had served its purpose, Cognito transferred its final proprietary network customer onto the new generation GPRS service, and switched off the old Cognito mobile data network in January 2003.
