The general purpose Metalastik Cushyfloat mounting provides effective isolation of noise and vibration from many types of equipment, including compressors, generators, pumps and engines.
The compact, low profile Cushyfloat was originally designed to be used with marine engines, so it is easy to install and has a protective, corrosion-resistant finish. The top metal cover protects against oil contamination.
The Cushyfloat's design combines relatively large static deflections in shear and compression with three-way control of the suspended equipment. Bump and rebound control features limit excessive movement under shock loading.
The standard range includes four sizes, catering for point load ranging from 32 to 3000 kg.

|
The Novibra type RA and the Metalastik type Fail Safe EF provide noise and vibration isolation on machines containing rotating parts, including compressors, generators, converters, combustion engines, pumps and fans, as well as workshop machines such as punches and presses.
Using the rubber profile in compression and shear, the EF and RA obtain good vertical flexibility as well as horizontal stability. At normal operating speeds of approximately 1500 RPM, the EF and RA type provides up to 75% to 85% isolation.
Features include load rating options from 40 to 2100 kg, ISO 2081 Fe/Zn8C corrosion protection, oil contamination protection and integral fail-safe design device fitted as standard.
|
|
The Novibra Type SIM mounting provides vibration isolation for small to medium sized machines and mobile applications including fans, compressors, pumps, cooling and heating equipment, engines and measuring equipment.
The SIM's robust metal components and its soft vertical stiffness combined with high axial stiffness makes it suitable for marine engine suspension with or without thrust bearing.
The unique construction and state of the art methods used in the production of the SIM result in a high performance mounting with many advantages including a load range from 50 to 580 kg, a shock-proof device with resilient stop fitted as standard, corrosion protection to ISO 2081 for Fe/Zn8C, and clear markings that are durable enough to be read after several years of operation.

Novibra type VP Bushes, consisting of two concentric sleeves with securely bonded pre-stressed rubber between them, are designed for the accommodation of torsional movements and radial and axial loads such as vehicle suspension, mechanical linkage and pivot arms.
Oscillating movement is permitted through the deflection of the rubber in shear, which takes up the full movement. No lubrication or other bearing maintenance is necessary.
With excellent vibration and sound isolation characteristics, the VP Bush reduces noise transmission and shock loads in applications such as vibratory feeders and conveyor tracks as well as pivot bearings, mechanical linkages and vehicle suspension arms.
|
|
The Metalastik type Spherilastik Bearing is a flexible, heavy duty bearing with a high load capacity. No lubrication is necessary for the accommodation of torsional and angular movements in all planes with no metal to metal wear. The Spherilastik Bearing is available with solid member or centre bore. Applications for use include any situation in which a compact, high duty bearing is required, such as hydraulic damper fixings or braking reaction and traction rods in road, rail and off-road vehicles.
|
|
The Novibra type RAB mounting is similar to the RA/RAEM range, using rubber in compression and shear for horizontal stability and optimum stiffness. The RAB provides effective noise and vibration isolation on machinery with rotational movements such as engines, emergency power packs, pumps and industrial and marine gensets. It is especially suited for providing vibration isolation and excess movement elimination in small 1 to 3 cylinder diesel engines.
Type RAB features include tight dynamic stiffness rate tolerances, load ratings ranging from 10 to 130 kg, corrosion protection and dome-shaped cover that protects against oil contamination, and well as durable markings that are readable even after several years of operation.

|
Metalastik type Buffers reduce transmitted shock loads, protecting equipment and structures from impact forces and enabling more economical equipment design.
Usually used as non-metallic stops or used to optimise vehicle suspension characteristics with progressive stiffening under increasing load, typical applications for these easily fitted Buffers include heavy-duty vehicles such as dump trucks, cranes or handling equipment as well as off-road and vehicle suspensions.
|
|
The Metalastik type Fanflex mounting was designed with the suspension of air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment in mind. It can be used with fans, compressors, pumps and control cabinets.
The Fanflex is a simple design having metal parts encapsulated in oil-resistant rubber to provide good environmental resistance. Providing a high degree of vibration attenuation thanks to relatively large static deflections, the colour-coded Fanflex range can handle point loads of 35 kg to 350 kg.

Novibra type SAW heavy duty mountings are designed for large static and shock loads in compression, with minimal deformation, low shear stiffness rates and high isolation in the horizontal shear direction.
SAW mountings are typically used in edge runners, crushers, hoppers, feeders, grinders, vibratory rollers, screens, mills and other types of very heavy equipment.
SAW mountings are constructed of interleaf metal plates integrally bonded within a cylindrically shaped rubber section that is itself bonded to heavy duty square metal fixing plates on both the top and bottom. Clearance holes in each corner of the fixing plates provide for ease of installation.
The Novibra type SAW is a high performance, versatile anti-vibration mounting thanks to its stable low installation height, low shear stiffness and high compressive strength.
Increased isolation efficiency in both shear and compression planes can be achieved by connecting two SAW mountings in a vertical series, one on top of the other. If larger deflections in the vertical plane are required, SAW mountings can be angularly mounted to provide the required spring rate.

|
Metalastik type Cushyfoot mountings provide superb stiffness characteristics for isolating a wide range of vibration frequencies. Suitable for a variety of machinery types such as diesel engines, compressors, generator sets, lift machinery and hydraulic units, Cushyfoot mountings come in three sizes for a load range from 50 kg to 1280 kg.
Cushyfoot mountings feature two rubber elements used in shear and compression, strong castings for reliability and safety and well as stamped identification plates. Optimum motion control and vibration isolation is provided by dissimilar horizontal stiffnesses.

|
Easily installable Novibra type BA mountings isolate vibrations from low-speed machines and equipment, protecting lightweight or sensitive units from external shocks and vibrations. They are especially suited for use in applications such as light compressors and fans, portable pumps and gensets, computers, transit cases, and gauging, measuring and test equipment.
Type BA mountings use bonded rubber in shear, permitting relatively high deflections and providing excellent low frequency isolation. For very light loads, the half section Type BA 20/2 is suitable.

|
We offer Trelleborg Industrial AVS Bobbins. This ancillary cylindrical mountings range is suitable for a large number of applications, and can be loaded in either shear or compression as required to meet the requirements of the specific application. They are manufactured from natural rubber to hardness 40 or 60 IRH.

|
The Novibra type ANB shock buffer effectively limits equipment or machine components, and is suited for use in a variety of vehicles and machinery such as traversing or lifting cranes, wagons, working beams, container handlers, forestry vehicles and other off-road material handling machinery.
The type ANB is a cylindrical rubber body bonded to a square steel baseplate which has fixing holes in each corner.
The body is constructed of special high-hysteresis rubber compound in order to absorb as much energy as possible, using the rubber volume at its optimum efficiency.
A high degree of energy absorption is achieved through the rubber’s low resilience. More energy is absorbed for any given deformation since the rubber is stiffer under dynamic loading than it is under static or pseudo static conditions.
|
|
The Novibra type SE mounting is designed to reduce structure-borne noise and isolate high frequency disturbances in applications such as electric motors, domestic appliances, weighing equipment, textile machinery and office equipment.
The SE mounting is constructed of a single steel support plate which is bonded to an annular rubber section. A clearance hole in the middle of the mounting can be tapped or left plain, depending upon the requirements of the application.
The rubber element directly contacts the supporting surface, so "walking" of the suspended equipment is usually prevented by friction.

|
|
The Metalastik type Metacone mountings are designed to achieve high load capacity with relatively big static deflections, achieved by using the rubber to optimum advantage in shear and compression. The Metacone range is a fail-safe, compact design. Cutouts of various sizes in the rubber section provide vertical/horizontal stiffness ratios for a wide range of loadings.
Overload and rebound washers are normally used when assembling the mountings to limit and control the suspended equipment’s movement under shock loading, with centre fixing bolts torque tightened as applicable. We can supply most Metacone sizes complete with the overload and rebound washers.
Applications for the Metacone range include suspensions for vehicle engines both on-road and off-road, marine engines, oil tankers and vehicle cabs.

Novibra's type TF mounting with level adjuster is designed for free-standing workshop machines such as lathes, milling and grinding machines, presses, shears, punches, cutters, woodworking machinery and plastic moulding machines.
The TF mounting can be quickly installed, and the level adjusted with load applied. Since the rubber base keeps the machine in place, there is no need to fix the machine to the floor. The machine can be repositioned easily.
The rubber is oil and chemical resistant. Metal parts are zinc plated and chromated against corrosion.
A simpler version without level adjuster, Mounting TFE, is also available.
