We have full facilities for service, parts and repair of our own pumps, and we also stock parts for discontinued pumps from other manufacturers.

Using modular construction techniques, we can manufacture gear pumps in hundreds of different specifications. We strategically stock key components of 30 basic sizes of versatile, compact and robust gear pumps. These, combined with a comprehensive range of optional features, allow us to provide our customers with pumps customised to their exact specification in the shortest lead times possible.
All our gear pumps are of the external fixed clearance gear type, and are lubricated by the pumped fluid itself. We have refined our pump designs over the years, and the result is a quality-built, low-maintenance, reliable pump that is simple to install.

With a comprehensive range of standard couplings and brackets, we offer virtually unlimited scope in the mounting of our pumps. Our standard configurations include foot, flange, base plate and vertical tank top mountings.
We usually supply aluminium mounting brackets, but steel or cast iron brackets are also available, including "non-sparking" couplings designed for oil installations, deep mines and other hazardous environments.
Subject to quantities, we can also provide bespoke mountings for special projects; in the past we have provided mounted pumps for projects ranging from wind powered generators to submarines.
We can advise on pump drive configurations as well as options such as specialised valve fittings, pump heating, drain-down ports and side plate pumps.

As well as pumps customised to every requirement, we also offer pre-assembled pumping solutions to specific or general applications:
Fuel oil dispensing kit with pump, trigger nozzle & holster and electrical controls ready-to-use general purpose transfer pumps in portable frames with varying configurations and options such as suction strainers, hoses and downstream filters " Spray'n'ject" pump units for injecting treatment fluids into timber or damp-proofing liquids into masonry; these pumps are widely used in the building and civil engineering industries.

Our standard pump casings are made of close-grain grade 220 cast iron. We recommend our "Armourface" option with specially hardened wearing surfaces of Epsilion Iron Nitride for the handling of low-lubricity and other difficult or contaminated fluids.
Other casing options are available, such as Malleable S.G. Iron and other materials to special order subject to quantity.
Our standard pump rotors are carbon steel, with other special rotors available in materials such as stainless steel and engineering plastics.
We offer three basic types of shaft sealing arrangements with various configurations: packed gland, mechanical seal and lip seal.
