Card Readers

Here at Nortech Control Systems, we manufacture a cutting edge family of proximity readers and smart card readers which are able to read a wide range of 125kHz and 13.56MHz proximity cards and tokens.

As well as working with our own range of electronic credentials, our card readers are also fully compatible with most third party cards and tokens, making them the perfect choice for new access control installations, extending existing installations, and for enabling the use of existing credentials in brand new access control applications.

Vehicle and Parking Management

For over 25 years, Nortech has been offering quality parking and vehicle management products which are ideal for a range of applications, including private car parks, hotel car parks, free public parking and paid public parking. In fact, our products can be used in almost any parking application which requires a method of preventing unauthorised access. They may also be used for reducing congestion, providing guidance to customers, or simply for monitoring car park usage. 

Nortech also offers a product range for other types of vehicle management applications such as vehicle and trailer tracking, traffic signal priority systems, bus lanes and city centre pedestrianisation schemes.

Readers and ID Devices

Nortech is proud to offer the widest range of reader technologies in the industry - no-one else offers a choice like we do! Our partnership with LEGIC enables us to offer state-of-the-art smart card security. We offer HID iClass smart card readers, as well as our own reader which supports Mifare sector reading in addition to serial number reading of cards and key fobs that conform to 13.56MHz.

What’s more, we also provide a wide range of 125kHz proximity reader technologies and magnetic stripe card readers. Nortech also makes available readers that can connect to third party access control systems.
