The CiBAST WHRU offers huge gains when used on offshore Oil & Gas platforms. CiBAS is smaller and lighter than "traditional" technology. Thermal efficiency can increase from 30% to around 70% when waste heat is utilised by the CiBAST WHRU. Recovered energy can be used for a variety of processes including heating oil, water/glycol, gas regeneration, heating of accommodation and de-icing of platform decks.
