The British Association for Chemical Specialities (BACS) is a trade association which represents the interests of manufacturers and users of speciality and performance chemicals and of formulated products at both UK and European levels.
Our aim is to provide a service which is of benefit to our member companies. This is achieved by lobbying on legislative and regulatory issues at both national and international levels by providing technical and regulatory guidance to our members and by creating opportunities for the sharing of ideas and experiences always respecting competition law.
BACS is committed to close liaison and co-operation with all associations representing the chemical supply chain as well as learned societies within the sector in order to reach consensus and lobby on issues of national and international consequence and to disseminate information and best practice within the chemical industry.
