Formed in 1908, Illston and Robson have become the leading manufacturer of BS138a:1980 and BS138b:2000 commercial vehicle air line couplings and motion control ball joints. I&R have expanded their air line product range to include coupling locks, stowage couplings and test kits. The ball joint range includes metric sizes M5, M6, M8 and M10 and UNF and BSF threads from 3/16" to 1/2", in steel, brass, and stainless steel. Other motion control parts include spherical rod ends, quick release ball joints and plastic nylon ball joints in Metric and UNF. Other services include supplying kits to motability conversion companies, general turning, and low volume prototypes.
