- E Series - Midcom Flanged Electric Storage Tank Heaters are thermostatically controlled and fully
weatherproof. They are used for heating all oils, water, BIO fuels and other process
liquids.
Long life low watts density removable ceramic core elements are designed for optimum
trouble free service and ease of maintenance.
All Midcom Electric Immersion Heaters are fitted with adjustable temperature control
thermostat and over temperature – cut out – thermostat, fitted into pockets and located
within a weather tight enclosure.
- ELW Series - All Midcom Horizontal Line Heaters from ELW range are fitted with adjustable
temperature control thermostat and over temperature – cut out – thermostat. Depending
on how the heating load is arranged multiple heating banks with multiple thermostats are
designed for efficient heater control fitted into pockets and located within a weather tight
enclosure.
- EOF Series - Midcom Electric Outflow Heaters are available to work with even the most difficult oils
and process fluids when there is no other heating medium available.
High viscosity crude oils as well as coal tar, bitumen and a host of process fluids can
be heated to specific temperatures and controlled precisely either by traditional
thermostat or the more up to date method of solid state electronics offering more
accurate temperature control and power saving.

- SEL Series - Midcom Combined Steam / Electric Line Heaters (SEL) are multi U loop design
incorporating electric elements where the primary heating system is not available for
start up conditions. The electric facility provides a flow of oil for the start up operation.
Once running the primary heating source can take over the heating operations.
- SL Series - Midcom Steam Line Heaters are multi U loop design and proven in service for the last
50 years. They can use steam, thermal oil, high pressure water as the heating medium
and are designed to reduce the viscosity of the heated oils to aid regulation and control.
High viscosity crude oils as well as coal tar, bitumen, BIO fuels, Mineral oils, Water and a
host of process fluids can be heated to specific temperatures and controlled precisely
either by the more common direct acting temperature control or the more accurate
system of electronic or pneumatic controllers.
- SOF Series - Midcom Steam Outflow Heaters are available to work with even the most difficult oils
and process fluids when there is no other heating medium available.
High viscosity crude oils as well as coal tar, bitumen and a host of process fluids such as
BIO Fuels, animal fats can be heated to specific temperatures and controlled precisely by
traditional direct acting steam valve and temperature controller.
- TH Series - Midcom Storage Tank Heaters are manufactured from 40mm N/B ASTM A 106 grade B
seamless pipe.
As standard practice when completed they are subject to 10% radiographic examination
in addition to a minimum hydraulic test pressure of 35bar for a period of one hour.
