Our packed tower scrubbers are designed to take advantage of the counter-flow principle, in which the gas or airstream enters the lower part of the scrubber through a gas inlet, then flows upward through the tower, meeting the downward flowing scrubber liquid during the journey.
Gas absorption is accomplished either by dissolution of the gas in physical contact in water or by a scrubbing reaction between a scrubbing reagent and the gas.

Our droplet eliminators, designed to separate mist droplets or spray from an air or gas flow prior to discharge to the atmosphere, are available in a variety of chemically resistant plastics. They use profiled blades that subject the gas and liquid to inertia forces that cause separation.
Droplet eliminators can be supplied in different ways according to the customer's requirement; either as individual blades cut to a specified length, pre-assembled in a cassette format, or installed within a flanged housing. Droplet eliminators using profiled blades or a mesh pad demister can also be used in vertical gas flows.
