The cost effective TorqSense RTW 310-320
Series is available in three different body sizes and suitable for torque
ranges up to 10,000Nm and is designed to provide a non-contact digital rotary
torque measurement solution for torque monitoring, testing or controlling drive
mechanisms.
The range features high bandwidth, excellent noise immunity,
integral digital electronics, sensors to monitor shaft temperature, high
accuracy and resolutions, and more. The RWT310 Series transducers offers fixed
voltage or current analog outputs, BIT self-diagnostics, and simple ‘fail’
output pin. The RWT320 Series offers 2 users selectable voltage or current
analog outputs, digital outputs, digital inputs, BIT self diagnostics, ability
to connect up to 10 transducers using USB, and more.

The TorqSense E200 Optical Rotary Torque
Series is designed for precise and dynamic measurement of rotary and static torque
of less than 500Nm at high speed and high bandwidth. This series of transducers
features low inertia, non contact measurement, high accuracy and resolution,
excellent noise immunity, operates statically and dynamically, and 200%
mechanical safe overload. They also incorporate digital RS232/USB outputs via
E202 interface to enable connection to PC and are compatible with older D

This series of strain gauge reaction
transducers are expertly designed for use in all types of industrial
environment. They feature modern wire foil strain gauge technology with high
performance stainless steel shafts. Models in the range vary from 50Nm to
5000NM and provide outputs including mV/V to radiometric voltage outputs to
digital data connection via RS232 or USB.
- SIT 105 transducers: Calibrated 1mV/V
output
- SIT 110 transducers: Scaled ratiometric
voltage output, 2.5V zero, 4.5V CW FSD 0.5V ACW FSD.

The TorqView Advanced Torque Monitoring
Software is suitable for operation with the RWT320 and RWT340 Series Transducers
as well as the E102, E202 and E302 Series. The software has been expertly
designed and created for easy installation and operation. It uses a serial port
or USB port for installation and offers three types of display (dials, digital
bars and chart graph). This torque monitoring software displays torque, RPM,
power and temperature and provides a data recording facility and real time

The E200 ORT Series (Optical Rotary Torque)
Transducer requires a transducer display interface and is also an option for
use with the E100 SBT/SIT (Strain Gauge) transducers. The E101/E102 transducer
display interfaces integrate with the E100 SBT and SIT Series and the E201/
E202 integrate with the E200 ORT Series Transducers. These display interfaces
are able to operate independently or can be controlled from a remote PC. They
feature two external analogue input channels (optional), and peak readings can
be displayed and reset either manually or automatically. The option menu allows
the user to set torque limits, average torque readings, set instrument display
to feature specific options, and a fast record facility.

The Wireless Load Sensor has been designed
to wirelessly transmit data to a compatible readout/display or for recording
data locally. It features an inbuilt 32MBit memory which can hold up to 149
hours of data ready for download to PC. This wireless load sensor is a strain
gauge based stainless steel tension type sensor. Its handheld receiver is able
to read many devices at any one time and/or a stand alone receiver interface
can be used to output the data via RS232/ RS422. This load sensor is able to
transmit data up to a distance of 30M at a rate of 10 times per second. It has
an internal memory of up 149 hours of data and features flexible automatic
shutdown to conserve battery power.

The LoadSense Handheld Receiver is an
extremely useful gadget used in conjunction with the wireless load sensor to
receive and view data. The receiver can select between up to nine load sensors.
These sensors can be named easily by plugging the load sensor into a PC via a
USB port and using the Load Sensor software. The clear display shows the name
of the current load sensor, the load, battery status or readout, load sensor
and signal strength. The user can choose between different options using the
menu tree. This receiver can receive data up to a distance of 30M and at a rate
of 10 times per second.

The HeliNav Loadmaster Wireless Load Sensor
is an aerospace qualified strain gauge based stainless steel tension type
sensor. It can transmit data wirelessly to our compatible readouts or displays
or can record data locally. This load sensor is also compatible with our
Handheld Receiver which is able to read several devices at any one time. The
HeliNav Loadmaster features an inbuilt 32MBit memory and can hold up to 149
hours of data that can then be downloaded to PC via USB. It can transmit data
up to a distance of 30M and transmits data at a rate of up to 10 times per
second.

The HeliNav Loadmaster Handheld Receiver is
designed for use with the wireless load cell and acts as a simple way of
receiving and viewing data from the load cell. The user is able to select from multiple
load cells which can be named easily by plugging the load sensor into a PC via
a USB port and using the Load Sensor software. The clear display shows the name
of the current load sensor, the load, battery status or readout, load sensor
and signal strength. The user can choose between different options using the
menu tree. This receiver can receive data up to a distance of 30M and at a rate
of 10 times per second.

The HeliNav Loadmaster Receiver Interface is
designed for use in conjunction with the Helinav LoadMaster aerospace
helicopter qualified wireless load sensor. This equipment allows the user to
receive and output data from the load cell quickly and easily. It receives data
from up to a distance of 30M and at a rate of 10 times per second. It is easy
to install and requires DC power to the unit. An SMA connector allows an
external antenna to be used if needed. The receiver can output a range of data
from the load sensor including serial number, full scale, load, temperature,
RSSI and battery voltage.

At Sensor Technology we are able to
calibrate torque transducers up to 10,000Nm with weights calibrated against
primary National Standards. We are ISO 9001: 2000 registered. We recommend that
all torque measuring equipment is calibrated and certificated each year to
ensure that equipment provides the best and most effective results. Our
calibration service is provided free of charge for all equipment purchased from
us for the first year after purchase as part of our warranty terms. Our
calibration certification provides information including units being
calibrated, calibration accuracy, calibration temperature, calibration date,
calibration due date and the name of the technician who has calibrated the
transducer.

We also service and repair any product that
has been bought from Sensor Technology. Before undertaking any service or
repair work our engineers will inspect the product/ system first to see what
service or repair work is required. They will then provide a quote and will
carry out the service and repairs with your authorisation. All equipment is
calibrated before it is returned. Our team works quickly and efficiently in
order to return repaired items to customers in fast turn around times. We ask
that equipment is packaged and insured when it is returned to us for service or

customers with cost-effective options. This service is often beneficial to
customers who are undertaking short term research projects or development
programmes and only require equipment for a limited amount of time. We offer
short or long term rentals on our complete range of standard transducers,
transducer display interfaces, and software. Our minimum rental period is for
one month and rental charges vary for subsequent months (please see our website
or call the team for more information). There is also an option for customers
to buy equipment during the rental period.

The TorqSense RTW 330-340 Series uses
non-contact TorqSense technology in three different body sizes for torque
ranges from 1Nm to 10,000Nm. This Series uses TorqSense Surface Acoustic Wave
technology for torque monitoring, testing or controlling drive mechanisms. Some
applications may require the sensor unit to be separate from the electronics
unit due to space or environmental limitations. The RTW 330-340 Series operates
statically and dynamically – clockwise and anti-clockwise. It has excellent
noise immunity, high bandwidth and features a 200% mechanical safe overload.

The TorqSense Digital RWT 350/ 360 Series
pulley/sprocket transducers is designed for torque monitoring and process
control on all types of belt or chain driven machinery. The RWT 350 Series
offers separate electronics and sensor with fixed outputs whereas the RWT 360
Series enables user selectable outputs. Torque ranges can be specified between
100Nm up to 10,000Nm. This series features excellent noise immunity, high

The wireless LoadSense load sensor is a strain gauge based stainless steel tension type sensor with the capability of wirelessly transmitting its data to one of our compatible readouts and displays or recording its data locally. Its inbuilt 32MB memory can hold up to 149 hours of data, which can then be downloaded to a PC via its USB cable. The Load Sensor transmits using the worldwide licence free frequency of 2.4GHz on two built in antennas.
