Company Description
Moody International Ltd was established in 1911offering its service to construction and electrical engineering projects. Today, it is known across the globe as a multi-national organisation providing technical and safety services to all areas of high risk industries such as oil & gas, power, mining, construction, engineering, chemical and more. Its teams of professionals operate from more than 80 offices across the globe, providing clients with four main services; technical inspection services, technical staffing services, consulting and training, and management system certification (ranked in the top 10 worldwide!). Moody International has provided services to some of the most demanding projects in the world - its success as a business is clearly evident by its evolution throughout the years to its current global position within the market.  Moody International Ltd is also proud to present two invaluable training books by Gregory M. Anderson, CEO of Randy Smith Training Solutions; Safety 24/7 - Building an Incident-Free Culture and Race Against Time - building a Culture of Mine Safety (specifically for the mining industry). These can be purchased via the Moody International Ltd website and various other outlets worldwide.

Behaviour based safety

Moody International's high profile behaviour based training service is a product of two leading consulting and training companies: Randy Smith Training Solutions (RSTS) and The Enterprise Development Network (EDN). Together, they create the Moody International Consulting and Training Division (MI C&T). As part of MI C&T's outstanding services, RSTS offers the Beyond Safety two-day workshop in an effort to make a difference to the excess of 2 million lives that are lost in the work place each year! Beyond Safety is highly regarded in the industry and changes individuals' perceptions and ways of thinking in the work place to achieve a safer environment.

Safe Driving

RSTS also offers a one day workshop, Beyond Safety: Driving in the Real World. This is aimed at reducing the risk of road related incidents. It looks, in depth, at the events leading up to road traffic accidents and how they can be identified and reduced to lower the number of incidents and deaths that occur every day on our roads. As part of the course, individuals will study four main areas; review safe driving policies and regulations, learn to reduce unnecessary risk and how to mitigate the rest, commit to reducing behaviours that lead to driving incidents both on and off the job and provide feedback to others when their natural risk tolerance jeopardises safe driving.

Dropped Objects Prevention

Via a range of activities, individuals on this course learn to identify the potential risk of dropped objects and how to inspect the five key areas subject to the greatest exposure of dropped objects; identify key areas for dropped objects, identify types of dropped objects, take part in dropped objects eradication and prevention, assess risk, and communicate and practice conversation skills for addressing safety concerns.

This interactive course is suitable for all business personnel. Dropped objects are the cause of a significant number of incidents in the work place so it is key for organisations to create a safer environment. Participants engage in experiential activities, including an abbreviated worksite inspection, and observe controlled demonstrations illustrating the consequences of dropped objects.

First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

The provision of first aid in the workplace saves lives and is a legal obligation for employers. RSTS offers its first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation course to provide individuals with the skills needed to offer emergency care until professional emergency services arrive. Upon mastery of practical tests, participants receive US Coast Guard and internationally recognised Medic First Aid certification.
