JCST is an independent and accredited testing organisation. We specialise in the testing of materials and products for industry.
Mechanical
Tensile Testing: from 196 ° C to 1200 ° C.
Compression Testing; Flexural Testing: we can do 3 and 4 point flexural testing to national/international standards and a range of temperatures.
Shear Testing: including lap shear, in-plane shear and interlaminar shear.
Pull Testing: offering a full range including strain gauging of the component or product and attachment jig and fixtures.
Creep Testing: Data from such tests is useful for determining the creep modulus and strength of materials and for the prediction of dimensional change under long term load.
Environmental Testing
Ozone: The Ozone Chamber can accommodate both static and dynamic Ozone testing.
Testing Specific:
- Salt Spray and Copper Assisted Salt Spray.
- Industrial Gases such as Sulphur Dioxide, Hydrogen Sulphide, Nitrogen Oxides.
- Temperature, Humidity, Pressure.
Chemical & Thermal
Chemical analysis: Atomic Absoption Spectroscopy; Gas Chromatography; High performance liquid chromatography; Atomic Absorption Temperature Testing; Differential Scanning; Infrared Spectrophotometry; Ultraviolet and Visible Absorption Spectrophotometry.
Thermal Analysis: including DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry) are available.
