Company Description

Applied Vibration Ltd specialises in the design and manufacture of vibrating materials handling equipment. Applied Vibration Ltd was established in 1976 and has developed year upon year to become one of the leading exponents of vibration technology in the UK. Our high quality products are manufactured from tough and durable materials to ensure that products are long-lasting and cost-effective for use in all industry applications. Products within our ranges include feeding, dosing, conveying, energy efficient, high reliability, elevating, spreading, discharging, aligning, compacting, transporting, sifting, conveying, and more. Our products are widely used throughout the world in various industries such as: chemical, plastics, food, pharmaceutical, cement, glass manufacture, foundry metals, engineered components and parts, and many more. To support the products we suppy, we also offer a repair and maintenance service for our electromagnetic and vibrator motor drives products. Alongside this we also support for drive and control units manufactured by AEG, AVITEQ, JOST, and many more. Please visit our website where you can download various product brochures, find out lots of information about us and our products and services, and fill in an online quote form.

Feeders & Conveyors

Vibrating feeders and conveyors are an efficient and economical method of transporting bulk materials at a controlled feed rate. They are commonly powered by an electromagnetic drive unit to provide almost instantaneous stop/start products flows and accurate flow rate control. Our range of vibrating feeders and conveyors include open trough, enclosed trough and tube type with discharge rated from 0.25 M3/hr to 1000 M3/hr. They are widely used for purposes such as feeding glass cullet into furnaces, feeding vibrating screens, crushers, process vessels, conveyor belts etc. Our feeders and conveyors can be complemented by other types of equipment within our ranges.

Vibrating Screens

Vibrating screens are designed for applications where products need to be separated. This process is widely used for industry applications where products need to be graded in size fractions, where the removal of dust or fines is required, or where the removal of oversized or agglomerated product. It is also used to separate solids from liquids. We design and manufacture a wide selection of vibrating screens to suit different requirements and uses. Alongside our open and enclosed designs we also custom build many systems to meet specific customer needs. Special units are also supplied to the food and pharmaceutical industry which include specific hygiene features.

Vibrating Spiral Elevators

Vibrating spiral elevators are designed to elevate all kinds of solids that need to be vertically conveyed. They are widely used in industries where materials such as grains, powders, sands, pellets, or similar need to be transported. Our vibrating spiral elevators are supplied in heights exceeding seven metres with volumetric throughputs of up to 50m3/hr. Top mounted or bottom mounted drives can be fitted for applications where space is limited. Our vibrating spiral elevators are ideal for process cooling, heating or drying.

Vibrating Tables

Our range of vibrating tables include: compaction tables, settling tables, shaker tables, and vibratory tables. These are driven by either electromagnetic or vibrator motor drives and are widely used for the compaction and detachment of bulk materials as well as for a variety of other industry applications. The load can be applied to the table in different ways; either loosely, or as a fixed load. Many factors need to be taken into consideration such as the bulk weight, shape, internal friction and particle size of the material as well as the height, rigidity, side-wall friction and dimension of the container. For further information regarding our vibrating tables, please contact us at Applied Vibration Ltd.

Container Discharge & Product Transfer Systems

Our vibrator bin dischargers are designed to produce an efficient, positive, and uninterrupted flow of dry solid materials from a hopper to vibrating feeders and conveyors. They form an integral part of any bulk store and feed system. We also supply dust tight bin docking assemblies on request. Our systems are designed and manufactured from tough, quality materials to ensure that they are long-lasting within the workplace.

Drive Units

We supply four main types of drive units. These include:

  • Base Mounted Electromagnetic Drive Units: we supply a range of small base mounted electromagnetic drive units used for small product feeding applications.

  • Electromagnetic Drive Units: these are designed for use with larger feeding applications and are available in 50, 33, and 25Hz driving frequencies.

  • Vibrator Motors: we supply a range of vibrator motors from global manufacturers.

  • Hopper Vibrators: we supply a range of hopper impact vibrators for product discharge applications.

All of our products are designed and manufactured by highly skilled designers and engineers and all products are thoroughly tested to industry standards.

Proportional Feed and Alignment Systems

Our proportional feed and alignment systems are designed to produce and efficient flow of materials from the hopper through to vibrating feeders and conveyor systems. We can supply dust tight bin docking assemblies to complement systems to suit specific application requirements. For further details and to view images of our range of proportional feed and alignment systems, please visit our website, or indeed, contact us at Applied Vibrations Ltd where one of our advisors will be happy to provide you with information and answer any questions you may have.
